The Sicatoka Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 Food for thought for the team going into this week: First Previously 0-8 St. Louis - 37 Currently 4-5 New Orleans - 29 Next Clear favorite Buffalo - 13 Cake-wake patsy Miami - 10 Just showing up isn't good enough. Come to play. Quote

dallassiouxfan Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 Any chance that they will carry this game on FSSN? Quote

Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 13, 2007 Posted November 13, 2007 I hope too see an AWESOME and totally pumped-up crowd for this game!!! It's going to be the last post-season event for a few years, so come on out and show the guys how much you appreciate their hard work!! GO SIOUX! Very important point. There will not be a football playoff game in Grand Forks until around 2011 or 2012! GO TO THE FRIGGEN GAME PEOPLE! I don't doubt many people on this board will go, it is the rest of the area that I am worried about, so tell your non siouxsports.com friends. Quote

The Sicatoka Posted November 14, 2007 Author Posted November 14, 2007 I hope it's not on television. Get out to the Alerus Center. It may be the last time you'll get to see Weston Dressler play at home. Quote

I did make it to the final home game since I was back home. Quote

PCM Posted November 14, 2007 Posted November 14, 2007 Will you be taking another picture of me in an outlandish getup? If I see you and you're in range, you bet! Quote

Sioux Crew will be tailgating starting at 10am along with Texas Roadhouse food!! (Sorry, Sioux Crew members only, but I know there's a few on this board ) Quote

fightingsioux4life Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 There is really no excuse to not get your butts to the Alerus Center to support our team. Hockey is off this week, so you can't use that one. And I don't want to hear that "It's Winona, who cares?". Our team is in the playoffs for the 5th straight year and 12th out of the last 16 years. And we'll have to wait until 2012 to see them in the playoffs again. It's outrageous that Coach Lennon has to beg and plead with people to come to a home playoff game! Let's give them the support they deserve. Quote
bincitysioux Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 My wife is having 3 wisdom teeth pulled on Friday afternoon. We WILL be there. Quote
4mcrue Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Just wanted to wish the Sioux luck this Saturday, might as well finish out the NCC strong. Quote

wsuwarrior Posted November 15, 2007 Posted November 15, 2007 Really? A playoff game at the Alerus Center for Winona State? That's a new one. Looking forward to game, even though I don't like how I think it'll turn out. I like what I've seen out of Winona State this year, I do believe it's a stronger team than last year's squad. Quote
bincitysioux Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Josh Morton, Fighting Sioux Club Director, was on Mac-Talk this morning. As of about 9:30 this morning, ticket sales for Saturday's game were approaching 3,000. Quote
UND92,96 Posted November 16, 2007 Posted November 16, 2007 Josh Morton, Fighting Sioux Club Director, was on Mac-Talk this morning. As of about 9:30 this morning, ticket sales for Saturday's game were approaching 3,000. All too predictable, unfortunately. We're almost certainly going to have less than half the regular season average (10,700) at this game. Quote
