CAFFEINE Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Howdy all. Any other Sioux fans going to be at the Sullivan tonight? I'm leaving in a couple hours to go chear 'em on. Quote
dagies Posted January 7, 2006 Posted January 7, 2006 Going into the weekend I was not encouraged. My fears came true last night. However, I'm very confident tonite. I think we'll do very well, and AA will take the beating they deserve. I guess I just doomed the Sioux. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 It may be Hockey Day in Canada but all I want is a Sioux win. Quote
JESUS,family, rutgers Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Hope the Sioux can bounce back. Who will be in goal tonight? Thanks. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Hak said last night that Lammy would be back in goal tonight. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 It may be Hockey Day in Canada but all I want is a Sioux win. What is with hockey day in canada? I saw it on tv today. You don't find us americans having a football day...it is cool though. I saw Sioux win 6-1 tonight. I just jinxed em too...actually, with Lammy in, I say 4-1. Quote

johnsowe Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 I see that you can get the game on the internet but do you have to be a GCI customer? Quote
WiSioux Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Hope the Sioux can bounce back. Who will be in goal tonight? Thanks. Phil is in the net... Parise is apparently hurt... concussion in practice? Quote
Cardinal Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Way off topic and I'm sure it will be brought up in the coming UND @ UM thread, but Harrington got a DQ tonight and will be out for Friday's game. Just got tangled up with a Niagara player and they wrestled to the ground (no punches) but they ref gave both players a DQ. Quote
keikla Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 when does the game start, and does anyone have a link for the uaa audio if the sioux one is messed up? Quote
OETKB Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Here is the UAA Audio site, just in case... http://real.uaa.alaska.edu:8080/ramgen/encoder/650keni.rm Quote
petey23 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Yeah, kind of a chintzly call against Harrington at the end of the game. All Harrington did was get ragdolled and thrown around a bit and then dumped. Quote
redwing77 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Let's give the Sioux feed the benefit of the doubt: Why do they have such horrible problems with staying on the air when they go on the road? Is it bad equipment? What's the deal? I'll withhold my opinion just to ask the question. TH explained that there's nothing they can do. Well, news to TH, but there are VERY FEW arenas around the WCHA where they DON'T have that problem. Quote
redwing77 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Kaip is out, Foyt is in. Foyt-Prpich-Fabian is the checking line tonight. Watkins with Duncan and Kozek maybe? Quote

BigChief Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Do you guys hear anything on the Sioux audio feed? I dont hear anything, but get the AA feed fine. Quote

redwing77 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 TH is rambling about moose at Wal Mart. Trust me, I'm about a hair's breadth short of switching over to the UAA feed as well. He did explain that, according to JPar, he has a "hip flexor" injury. Apart from rambling on about HIPAA and reciting "hip flexor" 100 times, it's the only thing of value stated on the pregame show. Quote
OETKB Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 UAA coach: They've got a couple of great lines, but we want to stop them in the neutral zone. Worst case, they dump the puck in. It's unbelievable that a cellar-dwellar like UAA is talking this kind of smak. UND needs to blow these bozos out by 10 tonight. I'm freakin' torked off after listening to their coach! Quote

micky981 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Is Radke in the line-up or is he scratched? Quote

Did he see a couple of great lines last night? New game tonight though! Boys can't way to be down by 4 before they start scoring. Need a goal within the first 5 minutes to set the tone, and even more importantly, don't allow any goals within that timeframe! Quote
redwing77 Posted January 8, 2006 Posted January 8, 2006 Toews interviewed and they said that he was indeed tired. He also said that they may have gotten 51 shots but none of them were quality. He could say that again. Quote
