Michigan State set to have their NPI go down, too.

Ohio State gave up a 3 goal lead to Penn State last week, so won’t count my chickens just yet.

The game against New Hampshire was the killer for me.

Well, in that game prevent would have won.  All they had to do is tie up a faceoff.

Will need to win tomorrow to stay there.

Good to have that gap close between UND and MSU/UM.
Even if UND loses tomorrow and moves down, they could still regain it during the NCHC tourney.

Oof.  That was harder than it should have been

Was never going to be easy against WMU in Lawson.
That's only the third loss for WMU of 2026.

Do you start Homer tomorrow since he’s from the state and has family in the arena. Me thinks BB would start him but Jax won’t because we want to keep NPI positioning

No

With nothing on the line, I probably would, but that would be the last time.  I can't imagine NPI going down much with a loss to the #4 NPI team.

I think he does put in Homer, which he may use to help prevent the usual letdown after winning the Penrose.  He may tell them to play hard for their teammate, since most likely it will be the last game he plays for UND.

I feel that Spoons played better tonight than the previous two weekends (great to see, BTW), but I would not be surprised at all if Homer starts tomorrow in his home state since we clinched tonight.

If it were me, I'm riding Spoons until the end now...but I wouldn't be surprised if Homer is in net tomorrow.
