Goal #1 I think is one he could've and should've stopped. It'd be different if goal #2 and #3 were soft but both were grade A slot shots that shouldn't have even been opportunities. But yeah, let's sh!t on the goalie and not discuss the terrible defending in front of him.

I think a big part of defensive success is having a goalie backing the defense that everybody trusts and understands. Personally, I see that with Jan, not Homer.

You can't blame everything on Homer, but I have never been all that impressed with him so far. He just doesn't look comfortable when he is in there.

We have no energy, anywhere.  Everyone is dead. No defese, we are chasing. Getting nothing from the Klee line. Young looks better than a lot of guys right now. Verhoeff looks like a freshmen tonight. All over the place. We need to find some juice and quick!

He lacks quickness and the athleticism needed in a goalie.

3 of the 4 lines have a different make-up.  There is a chance that as a line, players will lose some flow with different line-mates.  A little hesitation will occur.  With the fast pace, even a slight hesitation screws up the flow.  When the change happens from Friday night to Saturday night.  Not a lot of time to gain trust or prescience (foresight) in passing.
