Earlier this year Century's JV played H/B for points and the game ended up being an OT game where Century lost points in the WDA. I don't think there are any this year in the EDC. Its such a gamble to play a six pointer, and can just destroy your standings if things go the wrong way. Hazen won that game in OT after they had lead it 3-0. Quote

I am pretty sure Gillen had posted something on the site earlier this year about having difficulties with sports engine and all the different points categories ND high school hockey has. Edit: here it is- Quote
Wilbur Posted 12 hours ago Author Posted 12 hours ago A few games on the boys side. Devils Lake at Minot, Bagley at MayPort, Dickinson at Hazen, Grafton at Sheyenne, and Red River at Shanley. Did hear from some sources that it was quite the party in Devils Lake where a number of athletes were involved in getting suspensions in multiple sports, boys and girls. Children.....children....😅 Quote

Children.....children....😅 Yea 2 boys hockey players, one of which was the leading scorer and was on pace to break the school career points record...and the 2 top-dawgs twins from the boys bball team who were ranked #1 and undefeated at the time (they have lost 2 games since and dropped from rankings) and at least 1 starter from the girls bball team and the girls hockey starting goalie. It was like they decided to only invite all the most pivotal players from each team lol. Thankfully, all of them will be back at the end of the regular season for a few games before post season starts, but still a horrible derailment for all 4 varsity teams. My guesses for tonight - Minot over DL 3-1 Mayport over Bagley 5-2 Dickinson over Hazen 7-0 WFS over Grafton 7-1 RR over Shanley 6-2 1 Quote

Now they'll have to scrap like hell to be 5th or 6th. Quote

And I forget how the regionals work for 1A basketball but I'm guessing they will be in the same boat of bad placement instead of running the table in the toughest region. Quote
