Hopefully on ESPN+ after the contract with Sidearm expires in 2027. Definitely wouldn't bet on it, but curious if TNT / HBO streaming would maybe be someone the NCHC is talking to. Obviously have the NHL now and they are doing more sports streaming as well.

I'm also hoping for ESPN+, but it will probably cost the league moving to ESPN+ as I don't thing ESPN would pay much as it's probably not adding a bunch of users as most people will already have it. Will miss Starman though. Positive is we should get Alex now for the full season. 2

ESPN having a near monopoly on hockey could result in another service overbidding just to get some puck on their platform. Personally my go to is Prime Video, tons of good neo-noir movies and (for PNW residents) every Kraken game.

They did Holden dirty though.

Doesn't help that they only get mid-major games in other sports.

cberkas Posted August 23 Author Posted August 23 What a !@#$ show at a NCAA D3 school. wouldn't be surprised if they drop the sport in a few years like how rumblings of AIC closing. On a side note, looked up where the school is. They are in the middle of some big mansions, and some of their buildings are mansions. Real interesting school
atxsioux Posted August 23 Posted August 23 Apparently BU may bring Wassilyn in early this year. (Doing that instead of bringing in Tynan Lawrence would be insane IMO) Bet Bryn and Dane will be hot on the phone to check in with Lawrence’s advisor if BU actually pulls the trigger on it. Maybe it sits fine with Lawrence but wouldn’t be surprised if it didn’t either

Real interesting school Dude I surf with occasionally went there, it's smack dab in the middle of the best surf spots in New England, with the best waves while school is in session. I had no idea they even have hockey.

True, granted Wassilyn would be the same situation (underaged who had to accelerate education) 1 1

brianvf Posted Wednesday at 03:53 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:53 PM BSU bringing in a couple older guys that played pro AHL/ECHL last year: https://www.bemidjipioneer.com/sports/beavers-hockey/beavers-finalize-2025-26-roster-former-pros-cleared-to-skate-in-ncaa-through-eligibility-center Thornton is a 21yo that played 49 games in the ECHL last season. McClennon is a 23yo that has played 5 full WHL seasons, played a few games in AHL/ECHL, then 2 seasons in USports. Dang crazy recruiting world we're in now. I still wish we didn't have to play BSU every season...
dustnyou Posted Wednesday at 04:00 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:00 PM I’m really surprised Thornton is eligible after 49 games in the Jungle…. That’s crazy 2
dustnyou Posted Wednesday at 04:16 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:16 PM Well now that they allow pro players back to college, maybe Oshie wants to come back for one more kick at the can eh? I mean, what are we doing here? 4
