Anyone have any inside knowledge of our former players in the portal?  Who do we think will be able to get better offers then what they had at UND?  The only one that I think maybe could go to a better school would Mier.    I am hoping we hear about some signings soon.

Because money is stupid, Mier likely will “move up” but doubt he has the role at his new school that he’d continue to have here. Guy can’t shoot, not great at defense (although he should be with his length), wouldn’t say he’s much of a distributor either but he is great at getting to the bucket. Sorry, end rant. Had heard he was visiting Richmond.

Couldnt agree with you more.  I am definitely ok with him leaving and hoping we can get a upgraded shooter with better defense.   I am curious if Amar will get any offers better then UND.  He really fell off his second year here.  Last year I would have been disappointed losing him, this year not so much.

He did visit Louisiana. Think there’s more in his bag than he shows. Too much chucking for me when he could really be a nice big playmaker. Just my 2 cents.

It was probably natsvishvilli.  This makes me more depressed for next year.   I'm sure coach is scouring the naia for our next all star

St Thomas just signed a player that played Iowa and Miami.   I hope we can get a couple of those type players.

Former 4 star. Played a year at Miami. Was going to transfer to Iowa but Fran got fired so he re entered the portal. Huge get for St Thomas

Technically he didn't play at either place. Was a redshirt freshman this year at Miami, left at semester and practiced with Iowa for the rest of their season.

Well obviously he was good enough to get offers from places like that.  I would take my chances on kids like that then some of the ones we have here.   Coach Hutter is taking a girl that never played but was on a power 4 team.

He played at Miami. He left midseason after Miami coach stepped down in the middle of the season

My mistake, once Iowa fired Fran it was pretty well known he wanted to come back home but there wasn't any interest from Minnesota so St. Thomas was the logical landing spot.
