I was impressed with Eisele.  Played a lot of heavy minutes against Western.  I kind of thought he may seek out a pay day after the season.  The other one may be Alex Tracy, although he's been with Strand forever.

Agreed, he was by far the most noticeable player on the Mavs team.
Would be a nice pickup to replace all the centers lost.

I don't hate their program necessarily. I think their fans who think the roster should be 100% Minnesotan (despite the fact they haven't won a national title since 2003 and their last 2 national titles don't happen without Thomas Vanek (Austria) and Grant Potulny (North Dakota) are dumb as hell, stuck in the past, and have their heads in the sand.

The Gophers two best players in recent memory are from Pennsylvania and Arizona, at least IMHO, as they were better than Faber

It's a rivalry for cripes sake!

I shouldn’t have to explain that to anyone on here. Certain elements of our fan base have become soft and complacent over the years. Just like the team in 2024-2025.

You don't have to explain the rivalry i get it 😁 and it's a rivalry that makes the winters more tolerable.  I am all for them losing all their top players.   It was just the bad things comment.  All good 👍

Ethnocetrism by minnesotans resulted in Zach Mauer collecting big paychecks while injured. Best man wherever they are from, but protect your back yard.

I asked myself who was Zach Mauer, then I realized you were talking Parise AND Mauer.  

Minnesota is extremely provincial and always has been...it has definitely hurt their sports success at the NCAA and Professional levels
