sioux24/7 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 UND (KenPom 228) pulled it off against LMU. They managed to make it real interesting at the end but pulled it off. Now they are rewarded by being in Cancun and playing Bethune-Cookman (KP 277). Bethune-Cookman is 1-4 with their lone win against South Carolina State. They did keep it close against Nebraska too. Looks like #2 Brayon Freeman and #1 Trey Thomas are the ones to keep your eye on. Freeman is a senior guard averaging 15ppg. Thomas is a junior guard averaging 10.4ppg. Both are transfers. KenPom predicts UND to win this one 73-70. I think we should be able to win by more. Unfortunately, the game is on FloCollege and a month plan is $19.99. 1 Quote
SiouxFan100 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Thanks Sioux24/7 I will be on the road so can’t watch. Looking for a win! Quote
forksandspoons Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Gotta play strong defense and keep building momentum with a win! Quote

HoopsFan03 Posted November 25 Posted November 25 Won’t be able to watch this one but I think this one should be a win! Just keep getting better every game! 1 Quote
GoodGood Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Games on FloCollege. Games like this remind me how stupid the Summit leagues deal is with Midco Quote

If the long term is to bring NCHC and SL on to Midco then it a good deal for a number of SL teams (Omaha, St.T, Denver and UND). Plus, I like Midco production quality. Did you watch the ISU-R/UND football game it was the MVFC game of the week. No comparison between Midco and that other crew. Anyway just my opinion I am big fan of Midco+ (NOTE: Do they have work to do on the App - yes). Quote

I'm talking how dumb it is to have your conference behind a paywall that no one has nationally. I'd be pissed if my team played a non confernece game against UND or another summit league school. The Summit league had the nations leading scorer and no one nationally could tune in to watch him. I think its dumb but money talks 1 1 Quote

There are pros and cons to deals with either ESPN or Midco. I'm fine with the Midco deal because ESPN lowballs conferences like ours and on top of that they typically make an effort to restrict local linear TV deals, and they have never shown a real interest in televising our championship games or any of our regular season games. FightingSiouxHawks Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Wish I could watch the game on a national brand stream! At least I can listen to it on the radio! Quote
GoodGood Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Hopefully this clock delay doesn’t kill our momentum! Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 26 Author Posted November 26 Eaglestaff needs to clean up the turnovers. Come on man. Quote
Nodak78 Posted November 26 Posted November 26 listening on Radio. Checking live stats. Live stats screwed up UND players listed under B-C and vice verses. Quote
MoSiouxFan Posted November 26 Posted November 26 They've got UND and Bethune-Cookman switched around on both Live Stats and ESPN; i.e., they have UND leading 12-7, when it was actually BC leading. Quote
