I'm glad the CFL is showing interest.   I'd say it's a lot better to have a good CFL career than be standing on the sidelines of the NFL and never amounting to anything  (looking at you NDSU quarterbacks).  I didn't even know about our pro day happening.    Did I just not miss hearing about it or wasn't there much buildup to the event?

There wasn't too much talk about it. I heard about Pro Day on Tuesday and it happened on Wednesday.

Why don't you ask your CFL players if they would have rather been drafted by the NFL or CFL?

Seeing how most are Canadians and end up with longer careers than they would have otherwise ...

Would Ryan Smith (NDSU) trade his CFL career for being drafted by the NFL.

The money really isn't close.  These guys would prefer the nfl, let's not kid ourselves.

Getting drafted isn't getting paid for a career. I'm sure Smith and Dressler were happy for the option.

A 2nd option is great.  But it is a 2nd option.

maybe the reason guys like mr trey and the mouth breather don't amount to anything in the nfl is that their love for money actually trumps(ed) their actual love for PLAYING THE GAME?

MONEY>PLAYING

question @UNDBIZ if 20 friends called you and asked to play flag football after work and 18 would play and 2 would sit on the sidelines keeping time but got 5 dollars for being the time keeper would you volunteer to hold the clock for 5 bucks or would you wanna actually play flag football?

Funny coming from a school who has no one in the NFL, making the CFL a dream job for Hawkers.  You're arguing with an empty gun.

Why do you care so much

Because people like Dan have simple minds.   They think everyone is easily impressed.

Coming from someone who thinks the CFL is equal to the NFL.  LOL
