cberkas Posted August 24 Author Posted August 24 Not NHL, but this triggers people and it’s hilarious watching them say how the game is now soft because of this. Quote

The Sicatoka Posted August 26 Posted August 26 I'm willing to bet their insurance carrier played a role in that decision. And their attornies. 1 Quote

tnt Posted August 30 Posted August 30 Does Boston College retire his number like UND did for Terry Casey? Is there a better way to show their respect for his accomplishments at BC and still keep #13 open for future players? Quote

sioux rube Posted August 31 Posted August 31 According to police, a driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee hit two "pedalcyclists," identified as the Gaudreaus, from behind while trying to pass an SUV on the right that had moved over to make way for the two cyclists. Police, who responded to the scene in Oldmans Township, New Jersey, at 8:19 p.m., said both Gaudreaus suffered fatal injuries. The driver, Sean Higgins, 43, is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and has been charged with two counts of death by auto, along with reckless driving, possession of an open container and consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. According to the probable cause affidavit, Higgins told police that he had five or six beers before the crash and had tried to go around the SUV on the right side after thinking the other vehicle was trying to block him from passing. He told police his drinking contributed to "his impatience and reckless driving." Higgins failed a field sobriety test, according to the affidavit. Police said the investigation is ongoing. Quote

He should be offered a sentence of one two-hour practice in net against BC then against CBJ … no pads or skates, no nothing. 1 Quote

He was one of a kind. 80 points in his last season with the Eagles and an NHL career few NHLers even come close to. A good person too. Quote

Everyone knows they'll resign him if he wants, but building a team around those two will be difficult with the amount of cap space they'll take up. Quote
cberkas Posted September 19 Author Posted September 19 This was coming eventually, there are two groups in Atlanta and both have been the group that was getting a team. Quote
cberkas Posted October 4 Author Posted October 4 Vegas could have just terminated the contract but wanted to do the right thing. Still one of the dumbest moves Vegas made was getting Lehner Quote
tnt Posted October 12 Posted October 12 I see that the Carolina vs. Tampa Bay game for today is postponed. How long before someone demands the Hurricanes change their name, and then someone else suggests the Lightning change their names as well. Quote
