Blackheart
For anyone who follows this stuff, this just shows how little USCHO's popularity poll really means...once again the Sioux aren't in the top 15 but currently sit at #8 in the PWR. yzerman19
DO these clowns even follow college hockey? Wisconsin should barely be hanging on, not ranked ahead of the Sioux let alone the Goofs. As far as the ECAC and CCHA representation. I would love to have Cornell end up a number one seed and get that draw in the NCAAs. Give me Dartmouth, Ohio State and Cornell and I'll see you in the Frozen Four.

They've won against good opponents. Even with the slide I do believe the BADgers deserve a ranking above the Sioux. How far is up for debate. brianvf
6 Minnesota         24-12-1 357  9 I am amazed at the movement of Minnesota. Two weeks ago they were ranked #12. They sweep SCSU (9th place team) and move up to #9. This week they sweep MTU (10th place team) and move up to #6. That is crazy. By contrast, the Sioux get three of four against both Wisconsin (#6 at the time they played the Sioux) and SCSU, and barely even move back into the poll? It's stuff like that why I am very glad that there is no human element to PWR.

Let'sGoHawks!
I agree that the USCHO poll is meaningless. People are saying how well the Gophers are playing for beating the 9th and 10th place teams like mentioned above. Pairwise is where it's at, we are doing okay in those rankings, a few wins against Duluth would greatly help.

yzerman19
INCH is way off. With the 3-2-1 bonus UND is 8th (a number two seed). They also have way too many intraconference matchups posted.

yzerman19
No doubt about that. I like how they have a virtual cakewalk to the frozen four for Denver and BC and a hornet's nest in Michigan and Minneapolis. The PWR is not the best rating, KRACH is, but that is beside the point. I think MN deserves to be just slightly higher than the Sioux, and based on the last couple weeks, I think Wisconsin should be just behind them. I think all three are better than any team in the ECAC or the CCHA.

Sioux-per Villain
OMG!! A vote!! I feel validated again!! Somebody in there loves me! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The USCHO question of the week should make you happy as nearly 30% of the poll think the Dogs will upset the Sioux this weekend. Hope they're the same people that think Minnesota is a #6 team nationally.... Which road team is most likely to upset their hosts in their playoff series this coming weekend? 29% Minnesota-Duluth will upset North Dakota (WCHA) 17% Mass.-Lowell will upset Maine (Hockey East) 16% Dartmouth will upset Vermont (ECAC) 10% Alaska-Anchorage will upset Wisconsin (WCHA) 10% Miami will upset Michigan State (CCHA) 8% Northeastern will upset New Hampshire (Hockey East) 4% Alaska-Fairbanks will upset Bowling Green (CCHA) 4% Brown will upset Colgate (ECAC) 2% I don't know / No opinion. But also, for outsiders, they may have in their minds tDogs team from last year (you know...if they are living in a cave, or on the East Coast).
