I got to see a little history tonight. Connor Bedard with his first NHL goal in Boston.

Bedard: Channel surfing I literally got to see the zone entry, shot, rebound, and wrap-in goal. Total fluke.

Gustaffson with a 41 save shutout for the Wild over Florida tonight. Fleury should only play 30-35% of the games this season unless of course Gusty gets injured.

The Sens need to fix their cap margin and get Pinto signed, especially now with Norris on LTIR: https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/senators 

The Wild have two "#1" goalies each at about $3.5M; not bad. But the two bad "dead cap" contracts will still hurt them through 2024-25: https://www.capfriendly.com/teams/wild

Not a great way to start the season. Hope the Jets don’t leave Winnipeg for a second time.

I was suprised that they didn't decide to tear it down to the studs and rebuild.  With Helle in goal, they always have a chance.

I think I spoke too soon. Wild giving up boatloads of goals. Defense isn't helping either

I'm no expert, but Demko is out of the blue paint if that matters; however, the fly-by did trip him (leg on leg): minor penalty.

I mean I’m all for you leave the crease you are fair game, but I’ve seen goalies at the boards get bumped and they call it.

They "fired" the goalie first (waivers). 

You can't fire 97 and 29.

I have this wonderful amazing idea, how about you just admit 3x3 followed by a shootout sucks. Make it 10 minutes 5x5 and no shootout.

Part of me thinks Seattle needs to do bad to get top end picks, but at the same time I can see Hak being fired sooner than later with how they have been playing.
