Godsmack Posted January 14 Posted January 14 CC with a 3-2 overtime win at Duluth. Noah Laba with a bullet short side under the bar for the winner. 1 Quote

And it got Denver back in the game That's amazing! Every time Denver is trailing at home, somehow there's a major or a couple extra powerplays called on the opponent, at least until Denver is back to tied or ahead. 2 Quote

Although St. Cloud did get a 5-3 that last 3 minutes of the game. Maybe Heather Weems has more pull with Mike Schmidt than with Don Adams for her former school. 1 Quote
brianvf Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Updated PWR by league still has Hockey East with a good number, including the top 2 spots. I still think 1-2 of them might drop out as league play continues. HEA - 6 - BU 1, BC 2, Maine 6, Prov 9, UNH 11, UMass 14 B10 - 4 - MSU 3, UW 5, UMN 12, UM 15 ECAC - 2 - QU 4, Cornell 16 NCHC - 4 - UND 7, DU 8, WMU 10, SCSU 13 No teams from AHA or CCHA in top 16. Closest AHA team is RIT at 21 and highest CCHA team is MSUM at 28. So if the season ended today, at minimum both Cornell and Michigan would be out. Quote

dden3 Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Methinks St Cloud is for real. We will have our hands full next weekend. Quote

Crazy how different their OOC and conference records are. 11-6-3 overall 7-1-2 NCHC 4-5-1 OOC (St Thomas, Mankato, Alaska, Michigan, Bemidji) Quote

And it’s not like their OOC schedule was necessarily a gauntlet. Quote

Our young defense might have some gap problems. Hopefully James and McLaughlin can use their speed to cause problems for St. Cloud. Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted January 14 Posted January 14 Chris Wilkie's brother Coltan scored his second goal since he was in 16AAA last night to tie Wisconsin in the 3rd. Lindenwood did a great job on their black jerseys. Quote
Godsmack Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I watched the Duluth broadcast of the Friday night UMD/CC game. The production was terrible. The audio sounded like an old 1950’s broadcast through some old school AM radio. Quote
brianvf Posted January 20 Posted January 20 BU 2, VT 0 end of 1st Merrimack 2, BC 0 end of 1st (upset alert?) UMD 1, WMU 1 end of 1st Mich 3, MSU 0 nearing end of 1st...that could bump Mich back into the PWR hunt Quote
cberkas Posted January 20 Author Posted January 20 Duluth getting 3.40 of 5-3 with 2 majors. The first one sure but the second a borderline 2 lay on the ice get a 5 Quote

Even the first one I was like you don't need to lay there. The second a last-minute turn as he is getting hit. Quote
AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Is Ryder Donovan hurt? He scored a goal in St Thomas' first game of the year and hasn't played since the second weekend. Quote
brianvf Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Michigan crushing MSU 6-0. Going for the extra point. 3 PPG and 1 SHG so far. Quote
