Maine and Quinnipiac both lost. Lots of top 10 Pairwise upsets tonight.

And UMass got taken to OT (which they won), but that moves them a little bit too.

If UMass doesn’t make the NCAA tournament, that would free up the selection committee to place teams “properly” in regions without concerns of hosts.  To be honest, it would be better if the Minutemen are left home, or else an eastern team is coming west and vice versa.

Goofs with some home-cooking reffing, get 3 straight PP and 3 PPG in the 2nd to open up a 5-2 lead on Mich.

..... shut the front door!.... no way!?

Death, taxes, and PP chances for DU & MN when playing in their home states.  ;)

Does Blake have a shot at the hobey considering there is an argument that any of the BC guys may not be one of the top 2-3 best players on their own team? Who is the best player between smith, perreault, gauthier, Leonard?

I think Gauthier wins it easily.

If nchc teams can keep drilling Miami and Omaha, there is a possibility of getting 6 teams in. CC at least splitting with Denver would really help them and then the 3-6 and 4-5 matchups going 3 games would prevent any huge drops.  The leagues strength us showing itself as the season winds down. Should UND claim the Penrose, it will be an impressive accomplishment.

Steeves pulled a Lindros and then apparently got sniped from the rafters the way he dropped his stick.

That doesn’t sound like a UMD player at all. :whistling:

Having watched NCHC League play & B10, believe the NCHC play has more speed. Just MHO but it really seemed obvious in games tonight.
