BigGame Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 UND should have put this game away long ago, they aren't taking advantage of good oppotunities. Quote
GVSUfan Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Come on UND I'm Cheering for you! Rematch anyone? Quote
BigGame Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Roland Scores, finally play short yardage football. Quote

BigGame Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 SCSU didn't score in the second OT, UND has the ball. Quote
HopHead Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 SCSU didn't score in the second OT, UND has the ball. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Come on guys. Make the FG and lets start partying. Quote
U2Bad1 Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 It's about freakin time. Congrats sioux!!! Quote
nodakvindy Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 The road playoff demons are exorcised. On to Houghton! Quote
farce poobah Posted November 13, 2004 Author Posted November 13, 2004 Well done, Sioux. The National Weather Service says it will be 40 degrees with a chance of rain or snow next Saturday. (I guess that means the game will be played in a driving blizzard.) Quote
bigmrg74 Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Damn, UND and GVSU both have games that went down to the wire today. Whats in the water in Minneasota today??? Quote
PCM Posted November 13, 2004 Posted November 13, 2004 Congratulations Sioux football team. Great job of gutting out the victory. Let's put the road playoff jinx way behind us and go all the way to another national championship. Quote
rooker Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 I just arrived home to Minneapolis after watching a heart pounding victory by the Sioux. Congratulations to both teams and I would like to thank the fans of St. Cloud and UND for having a lot of class. Definitely a great road trip and game! Quote
Bulldog Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Now lets beat Tech. <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Ain't gonna happen. Tech is unbeatable up at Houghton. Look for a foot of snow, high winds of Superior and below freezing temps in an outdoor stadium that doesn't have that much seating. I don't envy you guys at all to travel all that way to get your tails pummelled in. Quote
fightin'su Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 If Tech can take the field Sat. and beat the Sioux, especially with a frosh backup QB and a beat up RB, god bless em and good luck!! I got a feeling that about 13,500 turkey stuffed Sioux fans are going to be sreaming in the Alerus on the 27th as UND is playing GVSU for the right to play in the semi's. Quote

UND may not win, but if you think a team like Tech--with no playoff history, injury problems and coming off a lop-sided loss in their last game of the season--is going to pummel them, you have another thing coming. If the weather is really bad and the passing game is largely negated, I wouldn't want to be the team that has to make a living running the ball against this defense. Quote

Bulldog Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Actually I was pulling your chain. I really think UND has a good shot here. BTW, I heard they (MTU) are getting all the injured starters back for this game. As a comparison we have the common opponent in Ferris and it looks good for the Sioux. 45-0 vs. 28-6. Same with GVSU 24-6. Looks like UND is in the semis looking at those numbers. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 14, 2004 Posted November 14, 2004 Isn't it true that Tech's QB is out for the season? Quote
