gfhockey Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 What about the boys dancing during The game? or chevon Mackey flipping off Und fans Quote

I'd like to make a motion to have geaux_sioux banned from this board, bludgeoned with blunt objects, and shamed eternally for his blasphemous comment about gfhockey. Do I have a second?.... 1 Quote

He went about his business and let his play do the talking for him. I get the general idea of wanting to see more swagger but I remember a lot on this board absolutely ripping the team Mussman's last year or two for having too much of it. I mostly agreed with that sentiment and while I like seeing emotion on a big play, no need to be hopping on and down after stopping a guy for a 1 yard gain or doing your job in general. I don't think you fully understand what swagger is. Let me break it down. Swagger is a confidence and belief that a player (man or woman) has that is derived from hours of practice, training, film study, and a belief in one's ability to get the job done whether your opponent wants you to get the job done or not. Swagger is not verbalized or put on display for the outside world to see. Its like when you study for a test and you are ready to answer any and all questions, because you feel supremely prepared then you go and ace it. No yelling or chest thumping required. Swagger and thrash talking is two vastly different things. People with swag don't tell you what they can do, they just show you. You don't think Will felt that way when he walked on the field? I"ll bet he did. That's why he was so successful, and the NFL scouts came calling. Quote

Throw in some solid special teams play and you will more often than not get the W in dominant fashion. Quote
MoSiouxFan Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Don't think I ever heard Izzy's name mentioned, or see him on the field, during the PSU game. Was he hurt, or did I just miss him? Quote
