UMDDogz Posted March 28, 2004 Posted March 28, 2004 It will be quite difficult for the 90% of Sioux fans here who picked UND to go all the way to win, even in the "single point" scoring scheme, because they're guaranteed to miss at least the two more games for which they picked the Sioux. Of course, a Minnesota loss would put our Gopher-fan visitors in much the same boat. Looks like that leaves us UMD fans with strong portfolios!! Quote
WPoS Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 I WAS doing good, but since I had the Gophs going all the way.... Odd tho, I did say that two of the #1 seeds would not make the FF....now why did I have to go and say that? But I do have 3 out of the 4 FF correct. WPoS Quote
airmail Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Much like my NCAA basketball pool... I'm now an outsider looking in. Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted March 29, 2004 Posted March 29, 2004 Much like my NCAA basketball pool... I'm now an outsider looking in. Me too...My picks suck, I have 1 FF team, BC. Stupid Ohio St. Just goes to show that those of us who know hockey...can't pick tourney winners for s*it Go Dogs!! Quote
bigmrg74 Posted March 31, 2004 Posted March 31, 2004 I was thinking mabye Jeb Bush for President in 2008 after W does another 4 years. Oh well, Bush still has to dispose of John Kerry first. Only if Osama just "happens" to be captured or kill sometime around Halloween. Quote
Goon Posted April 1, 2004 Posted April 1, 2004 Only if Osama just "happens" to be captured or kill sometime around Halloween. Kerry is already starting to fall in the polls, don't bet the farm on John Kerry overtaking Bush to be our 44th President. You also forgot the weapons of mass destruction. I am sure along with UBL will be a mountain/stack of weapons. Quote
choyt3 Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Only if Osama just "happens" to be captured or kill sometime around Halloween.    Isn't that the "lock of the year"? sagard, Didn't have DU or Maine. I would think that the brackets filled out by members of this site have been busted, big time. DU winning will pay off considerably in Vegas, I assume. Maine wasn't nearly the long shot. Someone must have those numbers... Quote
redwing77 Posted April 9, 2004 Posted April 9, 2004 Does anyone have Maine or DU? If so, kudos. I had Maine in the NC game... against the Sioux. though. I had DU not getting by Miami. Quote

dagies Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 I'm at 173! Does that make me a better college player than Sagard at 200? O wait.... Quote
WPoS Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 I'm at 173! Does that make me a better college player than Sagard at 200? O wait.... well that must mean I own you dags ...#29 for me! WPoS Quote
sagard Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 I'm at 173! Does that make me a better college player than Sagard at 200? O wait.... Come on, your selling us short! Look at the right hand column! I'm clearly in a 22 way tie for #142. I rock. And you, a dominating performance leading to a strong 34 way tie for 107th. Oh well, like the teams we root for I've got a lot of offseason work to do if I want to remain an elite prognasticator. Quote
dagies Posted April 12, 2004 Posted April 12, 2004 well that must mean I own you dags ...#29 for me! WPoS Well, there's the "haves" and the "have nots". I'm the "skates not". Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted April 21, 2004 Posted April 21, 2004 So do I win anything for finishing in a four-way tie for first place? Quote
MinnesotaNorthStar Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 So much for first round upsets....#23something...but I did beat PCM Quote
bigmrg74 Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 So do I win anything for finishing in a four-way tie for first place? Well, if there was any lucky ladies in on those four picks, I think GVFootball would be more than willing to work with you guys to set up a blind date with Yooper. Quote

MinnesotaNorthStar Posted April 22, 2004 Posted April 22, 2004 Saying that you were closer to being correct than a media person isn't going to impress too many people. It's the small victories.....especially when I did so horribly myself Quote
