UND-FB-FAN Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Other people with Eversport issues?Yes. Can't get it right now. Quote
UND-FB-FAN Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 jones pretty inept at presser mentions nothing about players not dressing...reporters need to pin him down ..because jones volunteers very little player infoSeems clueless like that, doesn't he? Or perhaps he's just protecting player confidentiality and being stoic? Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 45-24 UND at halfSeales leads all scorers with 14, very impressed with him so far.Avants not having a bad half, 8 points off the bench Quote
siouxfan512 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Not sure how much to read into this. I'm also listening on the radio and not watching.I'm not a great basketball mind, but I love to follow UND.I assume MN-Morris isn't even great within their own divisionI know we're young, but I suppose Tuesday will be a little better measuring stick, as to how we match up against solid competition. siouxfan512 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Neither Geno or McDermott are dressed. Injury or punishment?Sounds like it was for infraction of team rules. Also sounds like they will both be in Madison for Tuesday's game. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 13, 2015 Author Posted November 13, 2015 New guys really impressed. Seales moves like Webb I think. Really impressed with Avants too. Appears he's ahead of Cashman in the rotation. Excited to see how this offense evolves with the addition of Geno and McDermott. Quote

obborg Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Radio gamecaller today said that Seales broke the Division 1 record for scoring in a debut game. Can that be right? Quote
obborg Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Btw, another impressive debut underway out in Iowa City as Frieje has 11 points in the first quarter including 3 threes. Quote

obborg Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Exhibition games do not count for official records.... Pete Maravich for one scored 50 his first gameOK, that's the first I have heard that today's game was an exhibition. That would make them wrong about it being a debut in the first place. Quote
82SiouxGuy Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 I don't believe that the schedule listed the game as an exhibition. Quote
sioux24/7 Posted November 14, 2015 Author Posted November 14, 2015 how many points?27. UND record for a players debut Quote

hoops44 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 (edited) I don't believe that the schedule listed the game as an exhibition.GRAND FORKS, N.D. - Minnesota Morris fell 99-69 to Division I North Dakota (1-0) in a exhibiton game for UMM. The game was the regular season opener for North Dakota. Noah Grove led the way with 12 points for Morris on 5-13 shooting. Joe Roggenbuck and Anthony Fisher each had nine points. Morris shot 39.2% from the field in the contest. Maybe a regular game for UND and exhibition game for Morris Edited November 14, 2015 by hoops44 Quote
