SiouxFan100
I can now switch from cable one to midcontinent in Fargo. Looks like it is a little bit cheaper plus get the UND games. Which UND games are on midcontinent by the way ? How many of you will be making the switch? I don't see a downside.
darell1976
I gotta wait until next year to dump Cable One for Midcontinent because North Fargo is the last part of Fargo they are doing.
Oxbow6
Midcontinent was laying the underground work behind my house today.
siouxforcefans
Made the switch in West Fargo a few years ago. I had been with CableOne since they had come to town, and don't miss them one little bit... There is no downside other than the additional connection box somewhere on your block.MidCo Sports is worth it all by itself (watch Through These Doors and the coaches shows, some live games and game replays, etc), and the extended sports package is cheap. bypolairxam
Glad I switched to Midcontinent, but it's taking awhile to get the cord buried...
UNDBIZ
Even if you plan to cut the cord, Midcontinent's internet is the best in the midwest.
ericpnelson
Even if you plan to cut the cord, Midcontinent's internet is the best in the midwest.I live in Williston, and I had some door to door salesmen from Nemont come yesterday touting how much better their internet is. I asked about that award Midco recently received, and asked to see their channel listings. Not having Midco sports and solving an internet problem I didn't have didn't help their sales pitch at all. UND1983
Glad I switched to Midcontinent, but it's taking awhile to get the cord buried...Takes a few weeks at least. They sub out the job and crews just constantly go around and bury line all day. Very good customer service on that end. They came back and re-filled the trench with topsoil and seeded again after it settled. I have CableOne, Midcontinent, and Century Link running beside my house 15' from the outside box on the house(corner lot). Started with CableOne, switched to Midco so have both lines ran to the house. Century Link might be up next. SiouxFan100
Thanks for the information. I switched to Midcontinent. Only part I don't like is it may take 2-3 months to bury the cable to the house. After the first two years of discounts the price is similar to Cable One. SiouxFan100
I am happy with the switch to Midco a few years back. My original discount expired so I called them and they gave me another two year discount. Love all the UND games.
gfNDfan
Thanks for staying a subsciber! Everyone is diving toward streaming services these days but those fees pile up fast...faster than most think.
Curious
When they trenched in your line... did they go under your landscaping? I have black edging and I want to know how they are going to go under it.. I don’t want it cut and I don’t want the line laying over the edging.. anyone know how they do that? UND1983
They dig a hole on other side and bore underneath.
homer
Depending how wide the edging is and how close it is to the house they will likely dig underneath it and dig a narrow trench to the house. They won’t cut it or lay it over the top.
