SiouxScore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 3.7 secs left the whole X except the Edina fans are up cheering as the game ends. Hounds win 3-1 over Edina, East has upset probably the 2 most hated teams in Minnesota the last 2 day in STA and Edina. This East team that was around .500 in the regular season and most people thought they wouldn't get past Grand Rapids in the section semis but their goalie was outstanding and then they had to come back from down 3-0 against Elk River in the section championship. 2 Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 #1 Lakeville North against #5 Eden Prairie is underway. Lots of committed talent in this one with 8 committed players. Lakeville North has the 3 Poehling's(SCSU), Edquist(MN), Sadek(MN), and McNelly(UNO) and Eden Prairie having Mittlestadt(MN) and Graham(UMD). Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Lakeville North and Eden Prairie are tied at 2 after 2. Has been a very good game so far EP with the 23-13 shot advantage. Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Lakeville North scores 4 in the 3rd to defeat Eden Prairie 6-2 and stay undefeated we will see tomorrow night if Duluth East has one more big upset left in them. Quote
Sioux_FF Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 2-0 EGF up on Hermantown with about 3 minutes left in the first. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Bruce Plante has really turned himself into a not-so-sympathetic figure. Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Real nice play on the 2nd goal for EGF Bowen to Tweten to Monda on the backdoor. Webber has been very solid in EGF really calm and always seems to be in good position. Big for EGF to get the early lead and then go up by 2 with Hermantown losing 5 straight championships you know that impacts the mental side of things when you fall behind again. Quote
Shawn-O Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Bruce Plante has really turned himself into a not-so-sympathetic figure. Okay, what is it now... Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Hermantown scores a weak one early in the 2nd. Quote
Shawn-O Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 When Hermantown's coach tells them "remember the name on the front of the jersey is more important than the name on the back"...that must get confusing for Parker Hawk... Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 EGF with some good chances and zone time after Hermantown tied it Loven just missed finishing on a one timer backdoor pass from Bowen. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Okay, what is it now... You didn't catch the 'no reason to move up because there would be some years the team wouldn't be competitive enough to make state' comments? Coach, most schools could only DREAM of going to state six straight times, never mind making the championship game six straight times. Quote
bang Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 Bruce Plante has really turned himself into a not-so-sympathetic figure. You just love that guy. Quote
SiouxScore Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 EGF scores! Grant Loven drives the net outta the corner and Bowen puts the lose puck away. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 You just love that guy. I was sympathetic when he was playing STA and were totally jobbed by the officials. Quote
MafiaMan Posted March 7, 2015 Posted March 7, 2015 LOL, nice "gangsta" video-bomb there. You go, Vanilla Ice of EGF HIgh! Quote

Coach, most schools could only DREAM of going to state six straight times, never mind making the championship game six straight times. I just tuned in during 1st intermission. I'm sure he is under plenty of pressure and if they choose to remain in A I don't see a problem with it. Quote
