scpa0305
4 PPs for the Russians in the 1st period alone? Where are these refs from?
cberkas
4 PPs for the Russians in the 1st period alone? Where are these refs from? The last call was the weakest, two high sticking penalties the first one lead to a 5 on 3 goal.

cberkas
So who still wants osecki? Demko has over commited and his rebound control resulted in both goals, along with penalties.
SiouxTupa
US locker room better have a tough ceiling. Osiecki looks like he's about to explode. That last call was terrible though. Marbles have to even up sometime, right?
SiouxTupa
Demko has over commited and his rebound control resulted in both goals, along with penalties. Rebound control is a big part of it, but it's pretty easy to see that the US defenders aren't clearing the front of the net. It's there for the taking. It's there for the taking. Demko makes a save and leaves the puck around the crease but he is not in position to cover up the puck.

cberkas
Is it period break right now? Start of the 2nd USA with a power play on another weak call.
cberkas
That was a dumb penalty on Wood.
cberkas
USA needs to control their sticks being high, this is the 3rd or 4th penalty now.
scpa0305
Demko has over commited and his rebound control resulted in both goals, along with penalties. Neither goal was his fault. Let's get real. Us d are outmatched a lot. It's easy to always blame the goalie.
scpa0305
Both Russian penalties are about the worst I've seen in a while
Goon
This team over the past two games has gotten beaten to the puck in almost every situation. Team USA has also looked uninspired. Now they're taking undisciplined penalties and looking shocked. You can't draw a penalty, if you're not moving your feet.
MafiaMan
So who still wants osecki? We all know you remember the 2010 WJT fondly...how'd the US do in Blais' second stint as head coach of the team in 2012? Hint: not good
