SiouxScore Posted October 19, 2014 Share Posted October 19, 2014 Didn't get to watch the game but from the sound of it the line changes seemed to work out pretty well. It really sounded like Olson fit in well with the Schmaltz line he just missed on his chances and putting Simonson and Johnson together seemed like a pretty good combo. Also sounded like it could have been a lot worse as there were 3 or 4 posts hit by UND and a couple missed open nets as well. Overall it seemed like a much more consistent performance last night and really the type of performance most people expect from this team. Reading the Herald this morning evidently Zane must have been a little bored as the story said he saved a moth on the ice during a stoppage and brought it over to the CC bench to let it be free haha. Yeah, that's what Hak was getting at. Just because it didn't make a difference in this game doesn't mean it isn't an issue that needs to be addressed.
