MafiaMan Posted September 9, 2014 Author Posted September 9, 2014 What is it they say in football? Oh yeah..."the film never lies". I think the commish thought this would all go away...nobody notices stuff like this anyways. Cocaine, performance-enhancing drugs, suspensions, DWI's, murder charges...we just move on the following Sunday. Not this time. I bet Goodell ends up resigning over this as TMZ apparently had no problem getting ahold of this video. Quote
Shawn-O Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Harvey is on Goddell like hair on a gorilla. http://www.tmz.com/2014/09/09/nfl-ray-rice-video-elevator-attack-fiancee-casino-footage/ Quote
MafiaMan Posted September 11, 2014 Author Posted September 11, 2014 Goodell's feet really getting warm about now... Quote
SiouxScore Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Looks like the Panthers have changed their mind about playing Greg Hardy as they have now deactivated him for todays game. Quote

MafiaMan Posted September 15, 2014 Author Posted September 15, 2014 So Richard Sherman still can't shut his giant pie-hole despite San Diego lighting up that "vaunted" defense for 30 points yesterday? Quote
MafiaMan Posted September 18, 2014 Author Posted September 18, 2014 If Wes Welker was a Jacksonville Jaguar and not the favorite target of Peyton Manning, he'd be sitting another 3 weeks... Quote
MafiaMan Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 What's more embarrassing, Tampa Bay's performance tonight or their uniforms? Quote
cberkas Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 What's more embarrassing, Tampa Bay's performance tonight or their uniforms? Atlanta should be able to hit 70+ by the end of the game. Quote
MafiaMan Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 I can't remember seeing a beat-down this bad... Quote
Snake Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 What's more embarrassing, Tampa Bay's performance tonight or their uniforms? I honestly think the uniforms. Quote
MafiaMan Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 I honestly think the uniforms. Aaaaand? Quote
The Sicatoka Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 I love all of the sportscasters who described the Debacle at the GeorgiaDome last night as "put a whipping" on Tampa. (Think: AP situation) Quote
Snake Posted September 19, 2014 Posted September 19, 2014 Aaaaand? ...are the bigger embarrassment. Suspenseful, wasn't it?! Quote
cberkas Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 Dion Jordan is suspended again, the #3 pick in the 2013 draft will miss the first 6 games now. Quote

Hey, this is the NFL thread -- about PROFESSIONAL football teams. Leave Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, and Miami out of this discussion, please. Quote
SiouxVolley Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Plenty weird that the two teams that abandoned LA the same year, Rams and the Raiders, may both end up back in LA the same year. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/24758737/rams-raiders-would-be-los-angeles-found----if-not-for-the-nfl The Jacksonville Jaguars may fill the Rams void by moving to St Louis, as the Jags owner is from there. Rams move back to Los Angeles, allowing the Cardinals to move back to St Louis. Houston decides to move to Phoenix, making room for Jacksonville to move to Houston and re-brand as the Oilers 2.0. I love it when a plan comes together. Quote
