MafiaMan Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 Nice weekend for UW. Good thing those Big 10 schools aren't concerned with playing small-time town teams anymore... Quote
Frozen4sioux Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Good thing those Big 10 schools aren't concerned with playing small-time town teams anymore... We just got rolled by Bermidgchee.... And snuck a 1 goal win out Guess I'm not really ready to trash talk UW. They still have a Very very good goalie and a bunch of touted freshman that will only get better. It sure won't be an easy road sweep by any means in November. Quote

90siouxfan Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 But on the bright side, Saturday night performance was superior to Friday night performance... Quote
cberkas Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 0-2 > 1-1? Wailing and gnashing of teeth over here but "don't worry, be happy" over on Bucky's site? That's how it is over there right now lol. I think UAA is going to be a good team in the WCHA this year. Quote
Godsmack Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I know Godsmack will hate me for saying this, but go Chargers go! Hey Now!!! Quote
cberkas Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Minnesota wins the Icebreaker Tournament 3-0 over RPI. RPI could be a top team in the ECAC this year. Quote
MafiaMan Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 Hey Now!!! Nothing personal against CC, it's just that UAH came back from the dead and I want to see that program succeed. Quote

Godsmack Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Highly touted Chase Perry got yanked after giving up 3 goals in the second period to Huntsville. Looks like Tyler Marble will be the starting goalie on Friday against UND. Quote

Godsmack Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 I thought he looked pretty solid last night in the 3rd. The Chargers out-shot CC 14-10 and at least a third of those were good scoring opportunities. That said, Marble is unproven as he got hurt very early on last season so we'll see how he does. Quote

I was happy to see Huntsville continue to play hard both nights, clawing back from 2-0 and 3-0 deficits. I'll be pulling for them in the WCHA. Quote

CC is a team I'd like to see making it to the NCAA Tournament every year. I just think goaltending and d-zone play will be a weakness for CC this year. Quote

cberkas Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 CHN has it 3-0 RPI. CHN must have watched a different game. The Notre Dame feed would be better if there was no lag. Quote
MafiaMan Posted October 12, 2014 Author Posted October 12, 2014 CHN must have watched a different game. Dammit anyways... Quote
cberkas Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Dammit anyways... RPI looked good, Minnesota doesn't look as dominate as the did last year. Warning did make a nice play by flipping the puck over the next from behind the net to Ambrose right on the edge of the crease but missed. Quote
farce poobah Posted October 12, 2014 Posted October 12, 2014 Bowling Green and Miami tied up 1-1 late in the first. That one's on NCHC.tv. For those who need to run multiple games and multiple sports simultaneously. UMD looking very solid against Notre Dame. Quote
