It's not like the topic title isn't very descriptive or anything. I guess I just use the "new posts since your last visit" or whatever it is and don't pay much attention to what section a thread is in.

Improve to 17 and 2 with a 5-2 win over the Bison.  They have been accepted into the WCCHA for the 15-16 season.

When/where'd they play? Why didn't you tell us?

I'd have shown up with my "Bison: It's what's for dinner!" sign. :D

UND completed the season sweep of the Bison with a 6-4 win.

UND finishes the season at 18-2

They have teh hockies at FU?

I suppose in the future, they will eak out a win against the UND Club Team.   Then, they'll act like they do at CSU in Fort Collins when their club team beats Denver's club team...as if they beat the storied program.  I have proactively anticipated their dumbassery.  :silly:

What happened in the 2 losses?

(I kid, I kid) Congrats on a great season. Do you guys need some kick-a** jerseys? I might know a guy who can hook you up.

Back when I was at UND(late 80's), which is when NDSU was winning National Club titles, our Intramural hockey team was pretty talented but didn't have the depth to roll 4 lines and 3 pair of D like the Phi Delts did so we would occasionally enlist the services of "ringers", also known as the top line from NDSU's club team.(had a couple good friends who played for them). They said with a straight face that they were pretty confident that their club team could have finished in the top 5 at UND Intramurals.....Club Hockey has come along way since then.

It was always fun watching intramural hockey at UND.  You're right, there were always about two lines that were damn good, then the talent level would drop off a cliff.  Always a few guys that would play for a frat team for a year or two after getting cut from the UND varsity squad...

Does this club team have a website?

We actually have some very nice jerseys. Almost as nice as the men's team. We appreciate the offer though!
