The D seems to better about being in their right spot on D compared to last year, they just flat out can't wrap up and make an actual tackle. We need to just stuff the box at this point, let SDSU beat us through the air and START MAKING SOME TACKLES! As far as offense, Bartels is just showing his youth. He is a freshman basically playing in his first real game. That interception was flat out all on his shoulders, he threw it right to the defender who was just standing there. And he was showing his nerves when the D was closing in on him and he had to scramble. A couple of times he just ran in circles and wasn't even looking down field. But there were at least 3 dropped passes that should have been caught. He just needs to settle down and play like he is capable of. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
