Already looking forward to next season, with so many returning player, and some solid freshman coming in. There will be a great chance to make some noise in the Big Sky. homer Posted March 21, 2013 Share Posted March 21, 2013 Tough to overcome an opponent that shoots 60%+ in the first half. Some lazy defense by UND and lights out shooting by UNI allowed them to shoot that percentage. Still very much looking forward to next season. Addition of Hooker, Nash and hopefully an elgible Traylor will be nice additions. Also, Huff really played great team basketball the last 1/4 of the season and became a leader. An 11 point loss on the road to a team with an RPI of 80 is not hateful with the way UNI shot and considering this team has been on a bus for about 23 hours in the last several days. Next year could be special but they still need to watch the films of teams like UNI , Montana and Weber and play more team ball than what they do. There are still way too many poor shots between certain players with2-3 guys on them whole others are wide open. Three years and still this happen and wish Jones would finally do something about this. These players cannot continue to play so much one on one and expect to beat quality teams like UNI.
