1. BTN IS A NATIONAL NETWORK: All BTN events are televised to a national audience, with BTN in more than 52 million homes in the U.S. and Canada. BTN also is available via BTN2Go International. BTN has more subscribers outside the Big Ten region than inside

This comes right of their Website so if they're not national someone better tell them about it. According to them they have more viewers outside the Big 10 area than inside.

On cable systems avaiable to 52 million homes. Does not mean that 52 million actually get it though. It is available on my cable system but I do not get it. So are they counting me as part of that 52 million? Yes.

Have fun trolling here, instead of watching the NDSU FB game.

Oh I watched the whole game and truly enjoyed the victory. What did you think of GT's handling of the new coach search/hire. Figured I'd ask since you have such a man crush on him (and Lakes)

GT is and always will be the biggest douche out there, with Lakes a close second.

Either contribute to this board or just stay on BV. How the mods still keep you here is beyond me.

Folks,

James 5:9

That is all.

(See, I did go to church yesterday and was listening!)

PS - Can we get back to a conference re-alignments discussion now?

James Madison, which competes on the Division I-FCS level in the Colonial Athletic Association, is on the verge of moving up to the Division I-FBS level in the near future in Conference USA, according to Nittolo, though nothing official has been announced.

If James Madison moves up, either UTEP moves to the MWC or Delaware probably joins too.

Schnefp: Taylor says FBS move isn't coming anytime soon

Translation: The MWC, MAC, and SunBelt are the least bit interested in answering phone calls from Bresciani and Taylor.

But God forbid the Big Sky from moving up!

Further reinforces the notion that success on the field takes a back seat to media markets. I.E. moving to the current FBS is all about the $$$ and eyeballs you bring to the table. Outside the upper midwest many people think North Dakota is in Canada.

The NCAA meeting last week in TX reinforced their policy that entire conferences are not allowed to move from FCS to FBS. Maybe there will be an FBS change in 10-15 years, but the BSC isn't moving anywhere that the MVFC, CAA, and SoCon would not also be moving. It's not like the Big Sky is working some exclusive deal like you seem to be positioning here.

If there is a new 2nd level created in the FBS, the Big Sky wants to be there. Dahhh, so does every other top FCS conf.

What stops Doug Fullerton from talking to the sun belt conference about adding the big sky teams and having its own "Big Sky Division"....winners of the division get to play each other. Sounds pretty enticing.

Not to mention playing Big Ten teams again and larger non conference payouts.

That sounds interesting...or how about a BSC division in the Mountain West, that would be awesome.

doesn't the WAC have one more year to re-start football? (not that there are enough Big Sky schools that are ready for FBS today, including UND) or maybe, with New Mexico State still in the WAC and still FBS, can that be drawn out for a longer period? Idaho is still FBS and will be Big Sky next year, would that make any difference?
