They'd make West Virginia in the Big XII make sense. no way Louisville leaves the ACC, the other two...why not? AAC and MW are certainly the places to be looking. The question is who for a 12th. Oklahoma and it's allies want Houston. Texas despises Houston and doesn't want it to gain more power in the state. A&M and the SEC have seen big ratings and recruiting gains in Houston metro, and that not going down well with most Big12 schools. Texas may try to get a Notre Dame option with the ACC, when the Big 12 contract expires, so they might not be committed fully. Kansas and Oklahoma to the Big 10 is also a possibilty. Memphis has some suport, as that would be an offensive move against the SEC. Tn, Miss, Miss St, Ark, and even Alabama recruit Memphis heavily.UCF and Colo St could be dark horse candidates for the 12th spot. BYU has pissed off most Big12 Presidents by their antics of holier than thou. Boise St has academic concerns that haven't been addressed yet. They basically wanted to do this for years before their expansion and weren't allowed to because of rules put in place by the Big 12 and the SEC. Why should they change now that the Big 12 is down to 10 teams because four schools left to play elsewhere because they couldn't stand UT? WSU is looking at reviving football but the President wants FBS and sees the MVFC as just a stepping stone to getting there. WSU is also considering moving out of the Missouri Valley to a higher profile conference. This could create some opportunities for the Dakota schools. N Iowa has to be FBS if they want to continue playing their FBS in state teams, which is invaluable for UNI.Where would you propose Wichita St played when their football got off the ground, if they were already in the AAC?
