When Chay went back to try to shove the puck in, the defenseman gave him a bit of a push, but then kinda stood back and didn't really protect his goalie. This was even before the whistle blew, because as soon as the whistle blew, Chay stepped back, but at least he kept playing until he heard the whistle. Quote
