Here are the players and some new mock drafts from nhl.com and other sources. As of now it seems Hall and Seguin are locks for #1 and #2 June 25th in Los Angeles (Round 1) 7pm est on Versus June 26th (Rounds 2-7) 1pm est NHL Network HF mock draft Forbort - 11th to Dallas - A 6'4 two-way blueliner who is expected to attend the University of North Dakota in the fall, Forbort should help replenish a defensive pool that has grown increasingly shallow. Nelson - 20th to Pittsburgh - The Penguins lack a pure-finisher among their forward prospects. Nelson, a strong two-way forward who is scheduled to attend to University of North Dakota, could fill that void. He is a tremendous athlete who reads the game well. Derek has committed to the University of North Dakota, the strong NCAA program, for the fall of 2010. Described as still being "raw," Forbort reminds some scouts of Buffalo stalwart blue-liner Tyler Myers. Whichever team drafts him will end up with a talented player and they'll have the opportunity to let him mature and develop for a long time before having to make a decision on signing him. He had so much potential in HS, and then has kind of fallen off the map in the USHL. Perhaps this last year in the USHL will help him out... The NHL Scouts weren't too impressed with his strength last year despite being predicted to go in the mid to late rounds. He's since had a rather subpar year in the USHL. Unless something behind the scenes is going on (which I hope is true), I don't see Mattson getting drafted. It is 6pm to 9pm tonight and continues tomorrow starting at 8am on the NHL Network. For those of you with the NHL Network, they are having the NHL on the Fly: Draft Preview from 5pm to 6pm today and then tonight at 10pm until 11pm, the Draft Review...you can watch that until 3am!
