bcblues Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Our rushes have not been half bad. But "not half bad" clearly will not cut it against Jase tonight. Our defense better be getting an earful by Hakstol! Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 MSUM makes it 3-1 Not one person picked the Sioux to score less than 5 goals tonight on this board....except one person. Is that a jinx or what...? yeah totally, the players read that and said we will back that guy from wisconsin congrats, you called it, yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 4-1 msu Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 Twice in a season against the same team though...? i just want to see some jump in the skates in this 3rd. the only period they had jump last saturday was the 3rd then the penlty fest started Quote
jk Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 I don't think either team has really carried the play. SCSU has taken advantage of its chances, and BE maybe wishes he had the last 2. Offensively, the Sioux have tried to pound it on net, looking for deflections and rebounds, but nothing has bounced their way. At the end of the second, a puck finally bounced to Kozek's feet but he was looking the other way. Quote
Goon Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 yeah totally, the players read that and said we will back that guy from wisconsin congrats, you called it, yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 4-1 msu This helps. Keeps us in front of the Goofs if UMN and UND lose tonight. Quote
31-9 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 The Sioux really need to come back in this game. Lots of teams above them in the PWR shat the bed tonight and you need to take advantage of that with how volatile those rankings are. True, winning is what really matters . . . but winning while those above play like **** is even better. And as I'm typing . . . Travis Zajac with a gorgeous pass to beat the Pens in OT. I think he has points in like 7 straight games. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 see what happens in this 3rd, maybe he step it up, maybe not...........maybe we get help from msu as they are showing and uaa and then some in the pairwise. 3rd about to start Quote
Sioux Hockey Fanatic Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 The Gophers are starting to take their usual mid season dive...it will get worse for them and then they will die their hair for the playoffs and try to make excuses for the demise of their season. Quote
BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 St Cloud only has 12 shots on goal so far. Not sure how many shots the Sioux have, but 9-for-12 isn't a good save percentage. Quote
bcblues Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Full Moon. Lots of teams above them in the PWR shat the bed tonight .... Quote
Sioux Hockey Fanatic Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Lets step it up and start firing some shots! And stay out of the box. Quote
bcblues Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 We always pick it up after the Xmas break. Quote
jimdahl Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Huge hit by MSUM, then goal! 5-1 Gophers were robbed, they had the goal. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted January 31, 2009 Author Posted January 31, 2009 Gophers were robbed, they clearly had a goal. yes it was, they should reverse that that guy made ness look like a 10 year old on that play, wow GO SIOUX Quote
Big A HG Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 It was the angle of the camera that made it look good. The puck hit the crossbar, ricocheted down, and crossed most of the goal line, but not all of it. Definitely no goal. Quote
farce poobah Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Huge hit by MSUM, then goal! 5-1 I guess the Sioux weren't that good after all. Quote

bcblues Posted January 31, 2009 Posted January 31, 2009 Dodged a bullet. Defensive suckage continues. Quote
