ScottM Posted September 7, 2005 Posted September 7, 2005 Scott Stevens retired today. That should open up a regular spot for Hale if he is and can stay healthy. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Anybody have any idea on David's health? I recall that he went back to Colorado shortly after the last regular season(?) for medical treatment. Maybe a season off helped? Quote
schmidtdoggydog Posted September 7, 2005 Author Posted September 7, 2005 From today's Forum: Chad Johnson introduced as the new coach of the F/M Jets. A blip on the Sports front page references the article by referring to him as former UND standout Chad Johnson. I know Chad and he is a good guy and has been a pretty successful coach, but I don't think 6 career goals and 22 career points in 95 career games warrants the standout label. Quote

On another note, appears Bochenski is in the Senators camp. He's listed on the depth chart as a RW, where the Sens are fairly deep. Know he played LW at Binghamton last year so I'm surprised he isn't listed there, where the Sens are much thinner. Looks like competition at RW will be fairly stiff. J Massen wasn't a NJ draftee, was he? Appears he'll get a tryout in the Devils training camp which opens on the 13th. Quote
siouxhockey5 Posted September 8, 2005 Posted September 8, 2005 Yes He was drafted by New Jersey Siouxhockey5 Quote
#1siouxfan22 Posted September 9, 2005 Posted September 9, 2005 Bo would have alot better chance of making the team at LW. I am sure he will change to LW during the camp. Quote

PhillySioux Posted September 13, 2005 Posted September 13, 2005 From ESPN's Eastern Conference Preview. Expectations are high for Zach Parise, son of former NHLer J.P. Parise, to contribute on a team that figures to struggle offensively. http://sports.espn.go.com/nhl/columns/story?id=2159443 Quote
