Big A HG
On Saturday Chris was still a free agent and had a plethora of offers. He'll find a place to play without a doubt. He works way too hard. A couple off the top of my head were Pittsburgh and Nashville to go along with Chi-town and St. Louis. There were more but I can't remember. mikejm
I am tickled pink that Chris has finally been signed. I'm surprised, though, that the Black Hawks aren't the team. siouxnami
I think the article is incorrect, I believe that Murray played 1 year with Porter at UND, but I could be wrong. Anyone? BTW, any details on $$$ if he improved his standing, I suspect that that will bode well for holding onto players.

nodak hockey fanatic
I think they did, but probably thought they could low ball him since he is not a high demand type player. I hope he got a decent contract and will get a fair shake at making the big show. I could see him being a solid third or fourth liner, he's got the grit, and you know he never quits. Brady was a very good player, and UND was a much better team with him healthy. But he was hurt quite a bit.

Porter and Murray were both freshman during the 03-04 season. Murray left UND after his sophomore season. Therefore, they played together in 03-04 and 04-05.
