siouxguyinstpaul Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I'm not sure how this will be received - but what are the chances of Osh, Duncs, Chorns and big Joe deciding to come back for another run? BTW - great season to all the lads on the team. You made us proud to wear and support the Green and White once again Quote

BringDeanBack Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 After the clunker yesterday, hopefully it is a pact to go pro. Quote
Siouxhockey78 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I would be totally surprised if they are even thinking about it. Osh's dad wants him to finish school....lol Quote
yzerman19 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 They've made a pact to let Chris Porter stay in their condos around the country whenever he'd like. TJ, Chorney and Big Joe are 100% gone Quote
ringbanger Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 See ya bye, that Pact this year sure did alot for ya. Quote
Goon Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Zero chance. Count me in as the Never happen (2X) Quote
mujack Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 See ya bye, that Pact this year sure did alot for ya. better than having players leaving mid year and hanging your program out to dry... That is the difference and always will be Quote
MafiaMan Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 See ya bye, that Pact this year sure did alot for ya. Seriously, the administrator of this board should follow GPL's lead and ban new member admission to the site to prevent trolls like you from showing up. Quote
franchise Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 If they did return for the senior years, wouldn't they become FA's? Quote
SiouxScore! Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I see it like this, If I am the Osh I can spend another year giving piggy back rides around the WCHA and wearing opposing players sticks like a dorsal fin while Anderson, Adam, and Sheperd look on, or I can find open ice in the big show and shine just like he has for UND. And as for the D-Men, they will do their job just fine at the next level too. Brian Lee being a great example. As we all saw yesterday, any one of these guy's can suffer a Cam Neely type injury at anytime. I would want them to have the bucks in the bank and the experience of the NHL if something as terrible as that were to happen. Taylor Chorney I hope you are not seriously injured, you are a gifted hockey player and will be a fine pro. With all of that I really do think that these guy's love UND. Thanks for coming back to have one more go at it. Quote
Big A HG Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I can see Duncs being back, but only him if any really. Chorney tore his ACL during the game so maybe if the extent of his injury is bad enough he would consider coming back to rehab for the season...? I do NOT wish that upon him just to see him back, but it's just a thought. Quote

Big A HG Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I thought he said in the paper that it was his MCL. Oh, I was told ACL...didn't read the paper, still in Denver. I'm probably wrong, but either way, it might leave a crack in the door. Marc is a big advocate of staying in school as well. Quote
Diggler Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 MCL is a better thing to tear than the ACL isn't it? Shorter recovery time, etc. That's kind of a plus for Taylor. Quote
Stromer Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 MCL is a better thing to tear than the ACL isn't it? Shorter recovery time, etc. That's kind of a plus for Taylor. Yeah it is. In the paper, he said he didn't tear his MCL but he did do something to it. He said it should be around 1 1/2 months to recover I thought but that could change after they look at it more. I hope that he can recover in time for the pros next year. Quote
yzerman19 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I wouldn't be surprised if Edmonton has their team doc take a look at Taylor, do any necessary procedures, and draw up the rehab plan. I will definitely miss Chorns... Quote
Sioux Hockey Fanatic Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Yeah I was checking to see who had news on who has already signed and when we will be seeing them play in the NHL. I am pretty sure Oshie, Chorney and Finely will be done. Maybe others too? Quote
MafiaMan Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I've decided to turn pro today myself and will be watching the Capitals/Flyers on Vs tonight. Quote

Oshie will be gone and Finley it will be interesting with the other guys. Quote
Sioux Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 chorney will still be gone. i think duncan and kozek are the best hopes to stay. on a similar note, i wonder if stoa will be back for UM? i would say yes, and that will be very good for them. Quote

greenwinger_13 Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I think it would be best for them to finish their educations out... Quote
