The summit championship game looks like a ton of fun! Can't wait for a few years!!! this tourney draws a ton of basketball fans in Sioux Falls (at least for last night) so why couldn't we host a hockey regional there???

Obviously there are a ton of bars around but I do like the aspect of there being a Sioux fan gathering. I just want to find a Sioux gathering that is less crowded.

We will be making the annual trip again after the last few years. I really do hope they actually make the tourney or we won't be buying tickets to that dump of an arena to watch non-Sioux hockey. We have been able to explore the downtown area much more after the past years disappointments. I'm hoping this year they play to win it because they may need to win it to stay alive. That could have the potential for some great hockey! i do really wish there was a bar not as packed as the pourhouse. I don't like to wait 10 min for a new beer and I need to get primed for the game because $9 beers don't happen with my wallet!

So how important was the Bison OC to heir success? Will one of the assistants be able to follow the same philosophy and skip any learning curve?

We need to continue earning respect like this by proving it on the field. The fall can't come soon enough!

After reading that article he needs another raise. They are recruiting the right way and we need to make sure we keep those kind of coaches. I thought I was excited for last year but the Big Sky better watch out in 2017!

I don't think anyone here has stated this but does anyone think this conference move will help bring more away games on Midco SN? This move makes midcoSN the home of the summit and mvfc for the Dakota schools. You would think all road games at USD and SDSU would be on midcoSN. Who needs espn3 when we have midcoSN? I can't wait for 2020!

So why doesnt NDSU claim their former coach that is ( I mean was) a head coach in the NFL? I never knew Gus Bradleys background but that's pretty cool to have a local guy as a head coach in the NFL, but too bad it was not too successful.

Sounds like a bunch of the Bison fans are going to be poor losers and just toss their tickets away. If their holy team doesn't make it they don't want to sell thier tickets to pathetic fan bases. Just shows their superiority complex when it comes to every other teams fan base. Let's hope all the fans that want to go can find tickets.

Your right one game will not be remembered but the hockey culture they lived in will live with them for a long time.

He is a bad role model for these kids by allowing that to happen. He didn't do it to make the other team look bad he did it to make himself look good by padding their stats. That's no excuse if the score could have been worse. Act like a dam adult if you are going to be a coach. There are enough kids on the team itself.

Mike is a pile of you know what. Don't come on here and try to defend him. IF he was man enough he would send the jv squad with the 4th liners and win the game. That pipeline may be under the "gathering" classification and may not have any of the strict requirements that the oil transmission lines have. If you read the story you can see there is a long record of noncompliance and they have had multiple incidents. I wouldn't trust that operator any day if they Wanted to build across the Missouri. Their track record gives the whole industry a bad name even though companies like this are very rare. You need to hold the government officials accountable if you want companies like this to clean up their act. I would be surprised if PHMSA shuts this line down for awhile until the integrity can be verified.

They never would have kicked it off to Santiago anyways. You guys are assuming they would do a normal kickoff. Any last resort play would have been a long shot. We needed to make a play before the game winning kick. Some of our fans need to realize this won't be the last time UND will be in the playoffs. This won't be the last chance especially with a veteran experienced team.

Missed field goal. That's your ball game. zero defensive turnovers. That's your ball game. we just couldn't catch a break once they go the momentum. This would have hurt more if we were expected to win it all.

Some of our fans need to realize just because we lost our first FCS playoff loss doesn't mean we won't be back again or that we won't win playoff games in the future. This team will be better.

Like I said before this team is no where nearly as good as they could be. We would all have a different attitude if Richmond has put up a better effort the entire game and showed they actually deserve to win. We got to be patient. We need to drop these boom or bust expectations.
