Will Bubba throw Joel off a cliff in an attempt to show next season will be different and save his own paycheck?
-
"A" by "A". It's catchy!!
-
Pretty sure facilities, uniform combinations, playing time, NIL funds/opportunities, Wins, NFL pipeline, and sororities are the key phrases to hit on.
-
Always the risk of rebooting 15 guys into the portal on a "National Search" which is fun. I see both ways on this one.
-
So proud this is catching on. Not that I want the team to have a bad team GPA.....but I truly don't care when we suck and have a lack of talent.
-
Maybe go the AI route everyone is talking about??

From May 13th to Today: At least we didn't lose any of my Win or shoot yourself in the head games!! Lost the Indiana State Tossup game. Lost all games with no past indicators of a Victory. W vrs UNI and Griz at home. (In hindsight who would have guessed UNI to be 2-9 and still on the Playoff Bubble) Lost to YSU on the road.........received some pushback on this prediction. We are going to be 5-7, that sucks.

Sense of Humor to match?? I briefly reviewed the long posts and angst among UND Football fans and we are clearly in decline and/or defeated, football team and fan base.

I would take Luke Schleusner(Vandels) over a bunch of those previously mentioned. The portal stole his QB (Jerry Rice Freshman of the year) and RB and they fought through that, played Oregon tough, sitting at 7-3. Luke has lots of cultural experience from the Jacks, flushed out the Mussman in him and that shoe-string budget at the time. He's known as a really strong recruiter. I believe he brought in Goedert as a walk-on for the Jacks. Also, he brought in Galloday at UND as he told me how that happened.

Better than driving the bus off a cliff I guess. Danny would have to have one heck of an acceptance speech to deliver......

Agreed. The staffs under Bubba (minus Rudy) have met a minimum threshold of X's and O's to be successful. Our roster has had some right parts in place at various times but never enough in place at one time.
-
Only Bubba and Massey thought UND was a heavy favorite. I was at 50/50 on this game. Don't start with pick 6, catch a punt, probably a UND W in a close one.

When looking at the Langdon Area pipeline compared to Moorhead that's a toss up......joking of course. The QB situation was short sighted. My inside player sources said Trey was one of the best teammates and hardest workers. He's taller and has a bigger arm than Romfo, much more throwing experience in HS, and from a pipeline of sorts. My view.......we blew it how we handled it. I don't think Jett will consider UND, nor will any player from Moorhead in the near future be looking too far north. But, will Jett be as good as his HS numbers.......probably not. I think we all know what Moorhead will do the next 2 years in the passing game. Big game this evening vrs Alex.

Appears to be a slightly glorified FCS Conference. I didn't realize Thee Kennesaw State was there.

I am on board with Indiana St. and Illinois St are essentially playoff games, must wins. Then, need 1 of 2 at home vrs Jacks/Yotes and I am giddy with 8-4 and a playoff game. 2-2 in the last 4 is the most reasonable prediction........not interested in playoffs at that point.
-
No way Massey on the 91%. No. 15/17 North Dakota Holds Off Indiana State in Overtime Thriller, 36-33
-
Winning percent chances down the home stretch. We look nothing like the Jacks or Yotes......will have to play out of our minds at Home in those. Bubba's road record speaks for itself. @ Indiana St - 50% Jacks - 20% Yotes - 20% @ Ill State - 50%

Will there be a huge influx of portal players after this season with FBS rosters to be limited to 105 players? I read about Texas and OU averaging around 120 players while Bama at one point had 137. Gophers sitting at 120.......to be cut down to 105, closer to home. Point is.....we need better players on D and this is a unique time with FBS roster size changes next season.

I was never big on the coach running out 1st like he's going to matter on the field. Just confidently walk out after the team and let your players have the spotlight.

Must see TV!!

You guys are literally inside my head on these posts!!

Let's go Fighting Tarzans!! Bring that mentality on the road for once!!
-
I'll be shocked if NDSU, SDSU, Yotes, Bobcats don't win the Natty this season. UND can have a feel good year with a playoff W, hopefully 2, but we look nothing like the Jacks on D vrs our common opponent in the Fargodome. I think our staff is good enough with X's and O's, but we are short on Natty talent at every position besides RB.

Let's look at the Trusty numbers. Rushing yards given up by YSU defense in last 5 games - 295 vrs Pitt (total yards of 644) Now Pitt is pretty good FBS but that's a lot of yards. 141 vrs Mo State. (but gave up over 300 passing yards) 135 vrs Indiana State 405 vrs Jacks!! 213 vrs Coyotes I project that UND will be able to rush for 200+ on the ground and that makes this a winnable game. A big challenge for YSU is they are coming off the Jacks, Coyotes, then the F'n Hawks in consecutive weeks. That's not an easy stretch of games if we show up. YSU has 2 wins, Valpo and Indiana State. A loss at YSU is about as devastating as it can get.
