I hope Fruechte has his 3 plays dialed in this week. I ran more (different) plays with my FM athletics team this fall, 5th/6th graders.

I am a 100% JYD guy over Freund or Tibesar. I wasn't all that upset when Danny left and he needed to if he was to be an acceptable HC at UND in the future. It would have been tough for me between Luke and the JYD. New Mexico doing well BTW.

I would really like to slap the Jacks around and giggle at the fact the Jacks were so big and mighty they could hire Danny in what seemed like a power move, but lead in part to the utter gut job of the Jacks. Win and in, lose and it's can the committee take 6 Valley teams.

Offensively, 3 things will make us better. 1. Fruechte can do better with play calling, preparation, schematics 2. Players can play better 3. Get better players and that relieves some of the pressure of 1 and 2. Since 3 isn't achievable this season, really need the OC and players to step up. My gut tells me Fruechte is on the warm seat. He can cool that with a good performance vrs Jacks and a play-off W.

Does anyone touch NDSU in the playoffs?

What does an offer from Drake look like? They must use Academic Scholarships because I doubt they lead with, "Come play here and pay $53,000 per year??"

Just guessing it's used more and more each year in college, closing in on the 4-3 base. But a 4-3 nickel package is a 4-2-5. Schmidty could stop the run with a 3-4 until most of his starters were hurt that one season his prior stop at UND. Schmidty knows D, and how to HC. He pulled it together this year personnel wise (but we are thin) and I only think the D gets stronger with team success and his recruiting. #bonebybone

2 guys that physically are just beasts up close are QB Jack Sulik and Edge Erick Paye. Jerry looks like the little brother next to Sulik. Paye looks like Rucker on steroids, plus 2" taller too. I don't know if either can play worth a lick but just really noticeable body types.

1st 28 points came so effortlessly and fast there had to be a lull from our players and OC. I didn't expect to hold pace and put up 70. We weathered their adjustments and finished them off. I thought YSU was really talented at QB and a few WRs. RBs were kind of junk though. Our D dropped 2 picks, add them to the growing list......

With Quincy gone someone had to fill the void.

Not like to see......actually seeing Deng Deng catch 5 passes with 4 of them for TDs. Seeing a Sr. WR fumble this weekend and other critical drops and 1 career TD. It's an observation and a message board, relax.
