  1. I wonder if the Jacks are regretting their passing Coordinator hire. This has been bad Jacks, the passing game.
  2. This is a MUST WIN game.
  3. We should have dropped to that last week as we couldn't compete in Fargo. I don't know why the delay but I don't have an issue with it because we really weren't in the game. We can bump up a spot or 2 each of the next 3 weeks if we take care of business. Then, just knock off 1 of 2 South Dakota teams and in playoffs pretty easy.
  4. Maybe discussed and I missed it. Wasn't Seidl picked up and slammed to the ground, and injured? Isn't that a penalty? Anyone know or have the video? Thanks!!
  5. I was going for hanging in the game and having a chance into the 4th quarter. This game was over in my mind at A.) 7-0 just watching the line of scrimmage. Other correct answers could be B.) When the Bison went up 14-0 in the 1st quarter, or C.) When Romfo fumbled to start the 2nd half. We were never in the game and that sucked for us.
  6. Instant Classic in Bold!! Chaves and football.......definitely not a visionary. Jury still out on this team and season. Frustrating how we can't play on the road......70 miles away.
  7. Almost as if she (ref) has no football background.......
  8. Are we getting this Or Jake the Milkman Milliman. Historically it's been the Milkman on the road.
  9. Agreed. Different if Danny went FBS as a vertical move and didn't take a starting O-line plus tried taking Jerry with him. That said, our schedule gets a "little" tougher here on out.
  10. Jett Feeney, Sophomore I believe- Mid season highlights Weeks 1-4 (4-0) 74.7% Completion percentage 294 Passing Yds/Game 21 Tds Pump up the Stats, pump'm up while Kevin's feet are stomping and the stats are pumping.
  11. An interesting conversation with an O/C who is currently with the Vandals, and this was a while back, but a similar situation having a game you should win heading into a big game. I was guessing we wouldn't show much offensively and his response was "show NDSU too many formations and a few new plays you don't even plan on using against them, just to make them prepare for it". So I guess there are 2 schools of thought on what we want to do/show offensively this week.
  12. From many sources - TE U as a team has 4 receptions for 23 yards. Yeah-Yah!! I think all the TEs the past 20 years have buyer's remorse. Block your tail off for 5 years and we'll give you 1 Make-a-Wish Foundation reception on Senior Day.
  13. 1st drive of 3rd quarter, not a TD. Not sure it was a blown coverage or if Idaho St. didn't think he could throw it that far. As a DB it's not unreasonable to over play inside if never seeing a throw over 50 yards coming out of UND the past 4 years.
  14. Romfo had a completion on Saturday that was further than any throws Schuster made in 4 years. It was 45 yards but from far hash to the sideline, around 53 yards in the air. Maybe some hope for a few more long balls and more than a game manager??
  15. Last season - UND 55-7 over Drake Jacks 70-7 over Drake NDSU 66-3 over Drake Drake over San Diego..........25-20. This game is about us playing at our level.
  16. HA HA!! 3 interceptions(2 pick-sixes) by Cal Poly.......somewhere at the end of a bar sits a fullback that used to pound the rock 48 times for 84 yards per game. Long Live Smok'n Joe Protheroe!! SAN DIEGO – Cal Poly's defense returned a fumble for a touchdown and allowed just 13 points, but three interceptions by the Mustangs offense, including two pick-sixes, resulted in the Mustangs falling in their season opener to San Diego Saturday, 27-21.
  17. Let's talk about the 44 points you gave up in the 2nd quarter to Utah State or the 56 1st half points vrs Idaho. Those games had to be hard to watch. But also last year is Bengals and Griz in a 1 point game in the 4th quarter in a 28-20 loss. Looks like your boys are a little inconsistent.
  18. Lots of eyes on UND football this coming week. A good team will follow a 2nd half like that and Win this one by 3 scores. A pretty good performance should Win by 2 scores. A let down and Win by 1 score. A Loss is a total meltdown. We don't know too much about Idaho St. other than 3-8 a year ago. 38-15 Loss vrs Oregon St and 50-10 Win vrs Oregon Western. The numbers I like are these......vrs Oregon St the Bengals D gave up 362 yards on the ground on 58 carries for an average of 6.2/per. Our O-line run blocking has been good, RBs good, Romfo running good, Fruechte good (run game). At some point, like this week, there is plenty of run film on us and teams will adjust and we'll see how we counter. Good Job UND Football, including the Big Old Dog himself, Bubba.
  19. I want to be the 1st to say it.......F-off Polack.
  20. We could use a 14 minute drive to help our D suck less.
  21. Griz only on pace for 84 points, it's not that bad.......
  22. I guess this is more on the line than most of the previous 37 games. Other than our GPA it's about all we got...... UND has won 37 straight home openers, last falling in Grand Forks in a home opener in 1986 at the hands of Texas A&M-Kingsville (67-44). That streak — the longest active streak in the country — will be put to an epic test against No. 4 Montana, the national runner-up in 2023.
  23. It was an observant post. On the QB front look at the past 10-15 FCS Champions and their QBs, then look at ours. It's the most important position in all of sports (other than pitcher in fastpitch softball maybe) and we are failing, if you'd like to be in the Semi-Finals/Finals of FCS.
  24. Settled?? It's his 4th year of college football. He just Won the starting job. I think a corner route should be in his wheelhouse.
  25. Not a complete embarrassment. 3 points sucks on O but misleading because if the O didn't control time of possession ISU would have put up 40-50 on us.
