On Defense, for their respective positions, the Corners have legit FCS size. All other positions are basically D2. I think this defense is going to get ran over all year long, like right down our throat. Sucks to see how light we are at the Ends and LBs.

Luckily Idaho is getting portal poached too. Jerry Rice award winner and 1st Team Big Sky QB, 1st Team Big Sky RB, and 1st Team Big Sky DB. That was a bad week after their season ended.

ha!! Buffs not Rams......Buffs O-line and RB big question marks, D sucked, HBC guys undersized. Ironically CSU exposed Buffs in their game last season for those that didn't watch.

A disciplined, boring, methodical NDSU catches a few lucky breaks and wins by a field goal, pretty much guaranteed. CSU is a total mess at O-line and RB and their D probably still sucks. All/most of their HBC skill players are undersized and struggle with a physical team.

Fully expect to be blown out at Iowa State. Very unproven O-line (f'n portal) and a QB that has never started a college game, WRs that can get separation in FCS struggle big time in this one, swiss cheese D. This is a recipe for disaster.

Objectively from The Great Howedini, the season will be an uphill climb.

The answer is obvious, this is a downgrade. Labels going into college(FBS/FCS) don't matter but with a few years development/game action the portal is placing guys at the right level. UND O-line is going to suck.

A few categories to consider on the path to 6-6. 3 - Win or shoot yourself in the head games - Idaho St at Home, San Diego at Home, Murray St. at Home. 1 - Tossup game - Indiana State on the Road 4 - Not likely but need 2 games - Griz at Home, UNI at Home, Coyotes at Home, Ill St. on the Road. 4 - No past indicators of a Victory games - Iowa St on the Road, NDSU on the Road, Youngstown on the Road, Jacks at Home.

I guess man-crush is a trigger and some here need a coloring book and safe space. I think most can see my posts are laced with humor and sarcasm. On a completely serious note, I am saddened with the direction of college FB and UND being one of the have-nots that can't compete in this environment.

Apparently young men that are left behind by their man-crush coach now have the right to do whatever they want. Newsflash, successful bosses and CEOs (most times) are not your friend. I don't think these man crushes are healthy. Man-crush Pawlak but fall into Danny's arms, got it.

I think this ages well. Unless you are a major player, maybe 10-15% of programs are, it's an awfully rough journey ahead and more athletes will be hurt than helped by the Wild West footings college football is on.
