  1. Hoosman was a student-athlete (really good student) and used complete sentences. He didn't fit in well at UNI.
  2. Ya, I lost my breath walking up the hill from where I parked!! They were noticeably faster than us, team speed.
  3. At least we won the game last season vrs NAU but we were lucky as heck. Danny was off, like way off most of the game and were toast before Bo made a ridiculous play or two and some trickeration. What we do have going is we play much better at home. TEAM STATS UND NAU 1st Downs 19 28 3rd down efficiency 3-11 9-16 Total Yards 318 448 Passing yards 206 324 Comp-Att 21-33 33-48 Rushing 112 124 Rushing Attempts 25 35 Possession 31:15 28:45
  4. Incarnate Word had a guy like 380 and NDSU struggled with him!!
  5. The nose position needs to be over 310 in a 3-4 system. DE's need to be maulers, too, cause only 3 down lineman. If a team wants to put the plow down on us nothing is stopping them from what I am seeing. As lots have been critical of the 3-4 you need a really high end front 3 to run it.........and be strong at safety. I think we are neither of these 2 things. For any youngsters, "where's the beef!!"
  6. Ohhh, the QB. I thought he ran like crap for a position player, fighting himself the entire way. Get with a track coach this summer!!
  7. Tests like Tarzan, played.........
  8. .......and left quickly?? Is that a fair statement?
  9. No doubts about that!! I am concerned about personnel on D, Joel has a lot of challenges ahead.
  10. It is possible that Joel has his own way of running the defense now he's in charge. Joel is a really solid dude and I would call him a definite players coach, good for recruiting. Fun Fact - as a player he had 3 picks vrs Texas Tech.
  11. The forum has a tweet out on Mcfeelys next in this riveting series of race relations concerning NDSU Football. In order - "Yo Mulattos, where you at and what color is your parents?" "Pale White guys and Gingers, building the O-line from 9-man North Dakota" "Why football teams need a token Mexican or Arab" "Samoans and Asians, why they never migrate past Utah to North Dakota"
  12. NDSU hates black players??????? That's pretty laughable although I do enjoy the problems they are having.
  13. I am dying!!!!! He must follow along here.
  14. Before Dallas Goedert was a star in the NFL he was a 6'5" walk-on that came in around 225 lbs according to the guy that recruited him to SDSU. I would wager, without anyway to prove it, that Goedert would be more likely bagging groceries vrs catching passes in the NFL if he attended UND. He was an A honor roll student, surprised we didn't look at him. 2013: Redshirted ... honored as Scout Offense Player of the Week in preparation for regular season finale at Youngstown State BEFORE SDSU: Was an honorable mention all-state selection two times in football at Britton-Hecla High School ... three-time all-conference pick in both football and basketball ... team captain in both sports ... member of the A Honor Roll

Top 20!! Let's kick the feet up and relax, change nothing.
  16. Not if you target and land guys with multiple offers, then it's foolproof and you feel really good.
  17. I'm glad our TE's don't look like the NDSU TE, he's 6'3" and 245 lbs and that's probably inflated. How about Gindorff though, 6'6" at 268 lbs and can run. (injured early in the year)
  18. 1. Physically we couldn't hang with SDSU for 60 minutes. 2. QBs in the Natty combined for 18 carries, 126 yards, and a TD. And that's a light game day for NDSU QBs historically speaking. 3. Style of play different than UND. TE's combined for 6 receptions, 115 yards, and 2 TDS in the Natty. Thus far their style of play (NDSU/SDSU) has been "slightly" more successful. Either we don't have the athletes to play this style of football or we are __________________. (fill in the blank)
  19. To Luke's credit (former O-line coach) he told me the kid would be in the NFL some day as a freshman. It should be Smith's backfield next year. Did Hoos have about 2-1 carries over him this past season though?
  20. Says the guy with 6 of the last 13 posts. Our playoff performance speaks volume. Glad you are around to toe the company line. Thanks bud!!
  21. That's probably 20-30 routes to get those receptions.....enough to keep a player "around" and engaged in the offense.
  22. awww....OK?? Ellefson had 16 TD receptions in college. Gindorff had stats of 38 receptions, 448 yards, 11 TDs prior to this season and had 6 receptions, 71 yards, and a TD before an early injury. Then Stofell filled in with 22 receptions. Stofell listed at 6'3" and 245 lbs. Just a beast. Plus, TE sets like All Day Darrell.
