Exactly. We don't have the O line to be gauranteed to get 1 yard up the gut
-
I always think it must be boring at times being an NDSU fan...as many of their games are over by mid 2nd quarter. It would be nice to experience that sometime on the winning side.
-
Typical UND, can't win by more than a TD.
-
That's the way to get the momentum back!
-
Yeah I don't like the decision to play him today.....at all.
-
Isn't this on Midco? What Midco channel?
-
Let’s go Weber! Hoping SUU can beat NAU too to give them another win, won’t matter too much but every little big helps
-
Last week we played like a top ten team, need to do it again this week. No playing down to our opponent.
-
Hopefully they hold Skokna out and save his 4th game, and use Gordon and Sherva to back up JJ. Hopefully we will be up and in a comfortable position. Would be nice to see Sherva get a few carries sometime this year.

Exactly. I can’t remember for sure but were home games televised 15 years ago? I can’t remember when they started being televised. I know though that when I was in school you had to go to the game to see the game. If games were on TV back then there would have been a piss poor turnout for games late in the year when it was cold. Now instead of freezing your butt off, you can just stay in your dorm or apartment and drink for free with your buddies and watch the game.

If in doubt, don't risk it....we shouldn't need these two to win this week. Let them play the last game to get their feet back under them in a real game, then they should be good to go for the playoffs. All four of these will be REALLY nice to have back!
-
All of these games will be important to shape how we look, but I really hope Weber can beat Montana. Montana is tough at home......if Weber gets beat by 10-15 that quickly takes some luster off our near win last week. If Weber goes in and beats Montana at their place, makes our game against them look even better.
-
Yep, more of a concern with the year Minnesota is having this year......might be more tempting for him than it normally would have been.
-
Weird to think that if we would have beat Weber.....and then the last two, that we'd have a good case for a top 8 seed. Yet with that loss, even if we win the next two convincingly......there is a possibility we could be completely left out. Ugh selection Sunday is going to be a nerve racking day! (Assuming we win the next two of course)

I would have MUCH rather had the big win against Weber, we'd be sitting pretty damn good. However need to try and make lemonade out of that lemon. I'm hoping the way they lost, with the Boltmann fumble, somehow brings them even closer together as a team and they come out with a chip on their shoulder the rest of the year......and act on it this week and into the playoffs. Let's be honest......not too many of us thought they were going to beat Weber, even the UND360 guys were saying this one would be tough. Now as a player you have to go in thinking you can win, and I'm sure they did. Even though they did lose, the way we played against them has to help give confidence to them that we really can take down anyone. I know for me as a fan, I have more confidence now in what this team can do than I did 4-5 weeks ago. That said, am tired of coming close......we need that big win, lets get a couple in the playoffs.
-
If I knew I was for sure coming back the next year, I'd skip this weeks game and see if we win. Should we get upset and lose, then I'd play the last week. I'd save at least one if not two games for the playoffs if it were me. It would be hard to sit on the sidelines for a playoff game!
-
How many games do our top true freshman have left. We haven't burned any have we. Has Skokna played 2...or 3 games? Would be nice to save him for the playoffs. How many have Fort and Cochran played?
-
I agree. They should be pissed off after that loss to Weber and want to take it out on the next opponents. That means play hard every single play and take it to them play after play after play, and don't let up until the clock shows 00.00!

Coaches have to be crazy busy during the year, I wonder how much time they can even dedicate to evaluating teams before voting. How many coaches have an in depth knowledge of the details of Central Connecticut State.

Agree with everything you said. And in particular about Kett, he has played really well lately. He has his deficiencies but he has been playing really well. I saw a Weber fan post on a Weber - UND game thread that he thought the UND QB played an incredible game. I've been as hard on Kostich as anybody, but blaming him for the fumble is crazy. I'd give Boltmann the green light to return that kick 10 out of 10 times, he is a helluva playmaker. That said it was a brutal way to lose a game, especially that game. The odds of fumbling the return and then kicking it forwards 10 yards......I mean i'm not sure if I've ever even seen that happen quite like that ever. Also Weber has a great returner, he was pretty well held in check.

I agree, we missed Turner big time yesterday!
-
Let’s win the next two, and get Bennett and Turner back, get a home playoff game. We really miss Turner out there, of course Bennett but Turner is a big loss.
-
Definitely, how many games has he played in...was that his 3rd? I'd hold him out the next two weeks and keep him for potential playoff game or two. Have we burned any shirts yet with guys playing more than the 4 games?
