Yep, coaches new 3 years ago when tank and Greer were Jr's there wasn't much behind them. It wasn't like the lack of depth at NG was something that sprung out of nowhere. So now we are rolling with a true freshman at NG the entire game? Do we even have another NG on the roster? Does Bubba have one year of eligibility left and can play NG?

Will be interesting to see what Schmidt comes up with for our young inexperienced D line to try and stop the bleeding up the middle.

That 4th down play really was a great play. Boltmann being such a stud....coming across in motion definitely drew a lot of attention. Kett did get some pressure on him on that throw, more than I recalled watching it Live. As much as he drives us crazy, thank god he didn't overthrow that one. Playoff hopes alive for another week!

After the ISU loss, I actually wasn't even that excited for the Cal Poly game but I did watch and was rooting. Even though that game was ugly at times I'm glad we pulled it out to keep a legitimate playoff hope alive. As I sit here right now I'm not nearly as excited for this MSU game as I would normally be. However by game time my excitement will rev back up to 110% again. Sure would be great to pull out the win this Saturday. Schmidt is really going to have to coach up the D this week with all of the injuries, offense needs to hold the ball and have some long drives and score a fair amount of points again. Pretty sure this will take 30 at a minimum to win this game. We have an offense capable this year, have to have mistake free football on offense again this week. Limited penalties and no turnovers. Hopefully the defense can come up with some timely turnovers. Hopefully nice crowd too to get loud on 3rd downs!

My opinion is that there are plays in the play book you keep and don't use, and wait for the perfect situation and that was it. If we ran that play every week, he wouldn't have been that wide open. Danny had another great call similar to that on a big 3rd or 4th and one a few games ago.......guy was wide open for about a ten yard pickup. Honestly this is what I like to see, you keep a couple plays in your playbook and you wait for that time when you absolutely must convert, and this was it. Awesome job Danny!

We have to clean house, but we do have some good younger players I’d rather not lose, they almost need to keep somebody so we don’t have to start over st ground Zero. I think I agree with the person that said if Bubba has any UND pride and loyalty he’d resign at the end of the year, if he makes it that long.

I agree, sure we do need some better players. Look at Hauck at Montana. In his second year his team throttled this Idaho State team and he has Montana back as a top 10 team. Anybody think Bubba would have Montana back in top ten in his second year.

I agree, Gee has been pretty good. Seems like early on a few people didn't seem to be too high on him, but he's been pretty effective and good catching the ball.

Hopefully he is healthy or close to it. However I wouldn't be playing him at this point yet even if he is healthy, i'd save him in case we have more injuries at RB. Gordon has been out, if JJ goes down or something then we may need him. I'm anxious to see what he has too, but I'd rather keep him on the shelf a little longer to preserve his red shirt should we actually need to play him later due to injury. I hope Gordon can get back to healthy, I thought he would be good in this offense.
