Looks like we are in for a four quarter dog fight sit here SUU. We need to stop anticipating or thinking this team can blow anybody out.

I agree, after we were a hot mess of garbage at the end of the year last year and were still in the last 4 out at 6-5 without any representation in the room......leads me to believe that the 'no representation' is not as big as some have made it out to be. Thank god we didn't make the playoffs last year or we might still be watching Rudy ball this year, and we might be sitting at 2 wins right now.....who knows, maybe 1.

If we don't make the playoffs, it will be a waste unless he graduates in four years and was never going to stick around after that, which likely isn't the case. Hoping we make the playoffs though, then I'm more ok with it as he is a difference maker and we'd need him in a playoff game. If we can't beat SUU without him, we shouldn't be in the playoffs. I called it right after the UNC game that they have already decided to burn his shirt and I felt he'd be playing this week.

I have a feeling this is a fore shadowing of all the games we need to go a certain way, go the wrong way this year. Last year were a hot mess at the end of the year and were one of the last four out. We are so much better this year than last year, it’s gonna suck if we don’t make it.

I think we needed the MSU win, but ya if we beat ISU and lost to Davis I think our chances are better to get in, crazy as that seems. All comes down to how are your quality of losses. Of all of the joking we all made about it, it may happen to us again.

If you were solidly questioning it before the season, I’m good with you questioning it now. I think some were ok with the two bye weeks before the season and some were not. I just don’t like it when people change their tune based on hindsight vision.

Given our injury situation the week before Weber, at the time it seems like many were happy we had the bye week. I’m not going to blame Bubba for that one, who knows maybe we lose that week with multiple players out, then playoffs are for sure out of the question. Given our tough schedule I wasn’t super pissed we didn’t have a twelfth game, in hindsight it may cost us but we will see. But since I was adamantly opposed to it before the season I’m not going to sit here now in Hindsight and throw blame.

I still think they shouldn’t have played him yesterday, maybe he wanted to play but still coach makes the call to put him in or not. I would have sat him and had him available for the first playoff game if we make it. I think they’ve likely decided already to pull his shirt and may very well play next week. If they weren’t going to pull his shirt I don’t think he would have played yesterday. I mean why wouldn’t you save him for a potential playoff game if you are planning on shutting him down after four games. Bet he plays this week. I think coaches are thinking we get a playoff game and are planning on using him in playoffs so will also play him this next week.

Not just NDSU.....99 out of 100 coaches would have put Boltmann or Grover in right there to hand the ball off. I can't even wrap my brain around the decision to put Shuster in for one play.

I sure hope so, I'd like to hear him answer that. May not really matter, but to me shows inability to make the proper quick decision in heat of the moment. Kett went out because his helmet came off, he knew it was for only one play.

I totally agree, I like the way it is. Yes only the top 8 teams really have a chance to win it all, in my opinion. However it keeps a lot more interest and hope for fans of schools outside of that top 8. Our season would have probably been over after the Idaho loss even if we won out and had beaten Weber. I'm hoping that at some point we are consistently one of those top 10 teams, but I like the format and the interest it generates all the way until the last week of the season.

In Hauck's second year he has Montana back as real contenders. We piss pounded them last year, since then he has molded them into top 5 team. Meanwhile we are doing what we do every year......bubble playoff team. Only good thing about this is maybe Montana becomes a top power and is a team that can knock off NDSU at some point. We know SDSU never will when it matters. God knows we are light years away from competing against NDSU. With NDSU's QB being a freshman and as good as he is, can pretty much pencil in NDSU with 3 out of the next 4 titles. And believe me....I have no joy in saying any of this, but it is reality. Top two teams I hate the most......NDSU and Montana.

They were all final scores, there was no possession. And we had the ball last so.

To think that we got a pick in the endzone, blocked a punt and returned it for a TD. Lucked out on a no fumble call on Boltmann along the sidelines (sure looked like a fumble). All of that and we only won by 7.

Had a feeling they were going to lose by two scores.......but not like this!

Well in that case I should be ecstatic that we won!
