If it comes down to that, Jones can score (no pun intended) so keep him. Hopefully both can stay though.
-
Well, that's just an assumption but if you don't even make it to the NCAA tourney then it's 100% given you don't hang a banner.
-
They should look into putting ice in Alerus Center so we could bid that for regional (the next step is then making it).
-
I ain't very optimistic at all about next season's team (offense specifically) if Wolannin and Gersich depart leave early, our offense will leave a lot to be desired unless a few of this year's freshmen step it up and our other non-senior (this season) forwards step up their goal scoring/finishing skills. Our Fin, Norwegian, EGF'r, and Roseau lad score goals at about the same rate as some defensive defensemen.

I've always said if I was told I had 10 minutes to live I would want to be at a televised close basketball game cus with all the called and media timeouts it takes an eternity. My God coaches, let them play.
-
Man, that just blows my mind. As good as men's hoops is at S Dak St (#12 seed in NCAA tourney) and they barely average 1/4 (all games) of what UND averages attendance-wise for ice hockey. Wow, speaks volumes about UND hockey support/fan base in GF area.
-
I AGREE, I SAW IT AND ON FIRST VIEW I SHOUTED "KICKING MOTION, NO GOAL". LIKE YOU SAID, DU PLAYER DIDN'T EVEN CELEBRATE IT WAS SO OBVIOUS. NO WONDER CC COACH WAS SO PISSED, WOW.
-
No offense (no pun intended) but he's only an Olympian forward cus he plays for Norway (think Jamaican bobsled team and Eddie the Eagle for England).
-
Typical stat line on games this season (although several were at least 20+ turnovers), hard to win that way.
-
Hindsight is 22-20 I realize but they got so painful to watch I quit watching them the last 5 or 6 games. Got tired of watching countless, mindless, dumb unforced turnovers, poor 36% shooting, no 3pt consistency, etc. Painful.

Brew did just like Berry this season, opposite of 2nd half surge.
-
A buddy of mine was inquiring on Brew's contract situation, anybody know?
-
They had better not lose on Friday cus they sure as hell would have trouble winning back to back/two in a row on Sat and Sun. That ain't happened for long time...
-
Keep it as is. They should also play Chelsea Dagger following every home win.
-
I have been watching UND lady hoops for 30 years now but I honestly am almost getting to where I can't stomach it anymore. The poor decision making and ungodly like number of turn-overs is just ridiculous that you see coming from a women's d-1 team. You just can't win when you avg 20 turnovers and 36% shooting. They gotta make a few changes next season.
-
Against a team that really had nothing to play for and one with everything to play for.
-
Are Clarkson's Olympians dwarfs?
-
Exactly, spot on. It's women against women and they're wearing pads so why no checking, makes no sense. What makes ice hockey such a great sport is both the speed and physicality and with no checking there's a void there. Every time I watch a women's game I anticipate a check coming up against the boards and then nothing happens...

How can you have div 1 athletes and only score 45 points? It baffles me.
-
UND will come out flat on Fri, lose, then say after the game "we'll learn from it". Rinse, repeat. (Hope I'm wrong!)
-
Exactly. We're making everybody look good now.
-
So I take it Bast was injury prone before he got here? If I recall now, was he on the shelf with an injury at the beginning of this season?
-
Hak's teams still always had second half surges even when they couldn't field a full team.
-
No, but some of the players should not be back next season.
-
Second half surge? Believe just 2 wins in last 10 matches.
