Exactly, spot on. It's women against women and they're wearing pads so why no checking, makes no sense. What makes ice hockey such a great sport is both the speed and physicality and with no checking there's a void there. Every time I watch a women's game I anticipate a check coming up against the boards and then nothing happens...

How can you have div 1 athletes and only score 45 points? It baffles me.

Really, even though we blew a 3-0 lead it's still hard to say we choked as really did not deserve to be ahead 3-0. Really, really terrible effort and display tonight. Not saying they weren't trying but the urgency, tenacity, etc. was not there.

So pathetic. Miami has nothing to play for (okay, maybe whether they finish 8th or 7th in conf standings) while UND has everything to play for (home ice conf playoffs, possibly NCAA tourney birth). We're playing like the scenario is just the opposite.

They just played the Miami "Big Hit of the Game". It looked like a blind-side contract to the head hit by a Redhawk against Gersuch. No penalty was even called on the play though.

This team is like a pogo stick. One good game, one bad game, one good game, one bad game,....that means average team.

My God. Blown a 3-0 lead, tied up. Putrid effort/play so far this game. Still lots of minutes left.

That's about as ugly a 3-1 UND 2 period lead as you'll ever see.....but I'll take it.

My screen has pretty much been frozen like 6 of the last 8 minutes. Missed the SH goal but pic came back just in time for me to see Miami's goal. Sux when you pay to watch.

Nothing short of a sweep this wknd is acceptable with what's on the line, taking in to account Miami's down season (especially of late, woeful), etc. This team has not swept anyone in nearly 3 months (nor swept anyone on the road all season). There's absolutely no excuse to be up for one game then down for the other in terms of intensity, smarts, etc. If they can't sweep Miami this wknd given the circumstances then this team just ain't got the mojo then, they are who they are. Go Sioux!

Good point, I'm guessing to some degree it has. Maybe UND is being loyal to her.

Refresh my memory, how did they just miss the natty final that season? Critics can bash Haks all you want, but there you have limited top line goal scoring and just one game from the final--wow.
