Glad you said that cus I was thinking along the same lines when I checked out their schedule and who a good portion of their wins have come against. I always thought PW ranking/grading system was damn near objective but not so sure about that anymore. Good Lord.

Not sure anybody really does but perhaps more wishful thinking based on a few factors? Minn this season, although having lots of young talent, was again a dumpster fire. UND should again be a good team next season so not really a step down if she went to UND vice staying at a struggling Power 5 conference team. She perhaps would like to play one season on same team with her older sister. UND is a bit closer to home/GF not big city lights metro area like Twin Cities so more like home for a NW Minn small town gal. Then again, maybe it’s all just conjecture. Only Kacie’s younger sister know for sure!

Agree, would never turn down any post-season tourney. Any time you can extend your season it can only benefit the players/team.

But now half the time we don’t even make the NCAA tourney so no shot at all at winning a natty. We always had that chance under previous coach while current coach only won the natty when handed the keys to a Cadillac.

Albeit still a tall task for this team but “only” need to win 2 out of 3 in 1st round of NCHC playoffs.

Ugly offensive display so far tonight. Reinforces if we do not get pp goals we are mediocre for most part offensively. We have struggled all night to maintain puck possession beyond 20 - 30 seconds. Tuff to watch at times.

Sure sounds like it. At one time St Tom had attempted 27 ft’s to UND’s 10. They ended up attempting 31 ft’s (so exciting for the fans to watch!) to our 19.

Good call by you regarding the ladies 22-23 season expectations nearly 11 months ago. They will finish 2nd or 3rd in conf play, in the 18-20 wins overall (hope it’s more as already at 18 right now), and reach semi-finals in conf tourney (hopefully make the final at worst).

For the sake of winning a 9th natty, just hope it’s at either Omaha or W Mich. No way we win 2 of 3 at Clown on their Olympic size ice sheet vs their speed (overall, we look slow).

You said it. We have sure been snakebit these last 2 games otherwise would have had 2 regulation wins each by 2 or 3 wins.
