12 zNHL draft picks YET 5 on 5 we are mediocre. Put blame on players or coach’’s?

Die-hard Sioux hockey fan for 45 years but based on IUND’s season to date I have almost zero confidence in them making a comeback to win vs #4 Denver. Prove me wrong, Sioux!

It was posted at one of the hockey threads last wknd. Not sure if if posted at the UND - Mia Saturday game thread or perhaps at non-UND college hockey thread perhaps.

Agree we could use a bit more size (it certainly did not help shed Olivia Lane transferred) but at same time our two home wins over bigger teams NDSU and USC were because we were faster, quicker, and more athletic than them.

Oh, gag. Was in attendance at Xcel. That game still eats at me. Outshot Much like 40-20 and hit 2 or 3 pipes. UND has just one natty in last 22 or so seasons. It should be double that. They were the best team that season but one and done playoff format does not always bear that out. That season an okay but certainly nothing special Duluth team finally won their first natty.

So if it’s not the coaching then does that it’s poor recruiting?

WTH? I’m not sure it’s even a 2 minute penalty assuming I watched the correct hit/play iin question? It literally looked like the player on the receiving end ran into the elbow. Must be a drama major.

But why this late in the season would that change? We are who we are(check our record).The whole season has been Groundhog Day.
