Your comparison is terrible, I don't hate USD at all, I have quite a bit of friends going there. MVFC and Big Sky are not like NCHC-WCHA. If you want to compare to hockey the two are closer to NCHC-Hockey East. Both conferences have teams that are considered FCS Powerhouses: NDSU & UNI for MVFC, with Montana and Eastern Washington for Big Sky. You add in a 3rd school for both with Sodak St and Montana St. Last year SDSU was better than Montana St but are close to a push. Historically I would take Montana St. USD is noway 20+ points better on a neutral field. They are not even 20+ points better on USD turf. UND defense is much much better than Weber State. You are also comparing UND offense to the Stoney Brook game, a team that defense strives itself in shutting down the type of offense UND is. You aren't taking into consideration how well this offense was clicking at the end of last year when it gained experience. Took the first game and half to get line to start gaining some confidence, and a few freshman are thrown in at positions that they weren't expecting to get so much time yet until Clive's injury occurred. They showed some chemistry in the 2nd half against Bowling Green. This game is going to be a strength vs strength when USD is on Offense and North Dakota is on Defense. UND run defense is better than USD run offense. Pass offense of USD is probably better than UND pass D if you look at last 3 years, and long plays at BGSU. However UND defense was able to pick off 3 passes and showed alot of improvement. I also don't know if USD is as likely as FBS BGSU to hit those long plays, with weakness in coverage. This will be a close game, no matter who is better, which I believe is North Dakota, however its a UND-USD game, even the UND-SDSU game a few years back(2013) was close game at 35-28, when game ended after a INT after UND was driving. UND was nowhere near where they are now. Offense may have been some better, but defense was not good. SDSU ended up #13 that year going into Playoffs and #2 in MVFC. Random fact: MVFC had 2 in Playoffs and Big Sky had 4. Yes NDSU won that year as I know someone will bring that up

There needs to be communication by the line to avoid that. Sometimes a play is designed for one lineman to cut his guy low. Sometimes its a lineman decision to do it expecially if the DL is overpowering him or constantly bullrushing, you can slow him down by taking his legs out, it gets dangerous when another decides to block up high, possibly pushing the DL awkwardly onto the cut block. I never saw a replay to know if there was a cut and the OL next to him nudge him on the way to the next level, or if the other OL decided to double team not knowing a cut block was coming up.
-
When he slowed down, didn't think he had a chance, but he did a great job picking his moves. He had alot of green grass in front of him on the 1st INT, however the diving WR took out his legs when he was rolling on the ground.

You are updating ahead of the ESPN3 stream for me. Even got out and came back in trying to see if that would catch me up.
-
What I find interesting about this is that it is on MIDCOSN, as well as it is on ESPN3. Does SDSU games get put on ESPN3 as well? Are UND not on there due to the Big Sky online streaming? 21-0 now.

Case Keenum was injured his senior year, and redshirted his freshman year, he got a medical redshirt. I can see Clive getting it if he wants it, thats if he is out for season, which I assume yes, but we don't know for sure. As he missed a large chunk junior year as well.

If Studs can get the short passes complete or to the hands on the receivers then the offense will be much better. Those will open up running lanes by causing the opponent to respect the pass.
-
There were quite a few times when Studs had time in the pocket and flat out missed the receiver, most of them short throws.
-
the fact that they didn't correct anything after SB came close to blocking every one before that is bad.
-
Not being able to get anything out of the series after the safety when we had a momentum swing hurt as well. Clive probably feels bad for fumbling it, but seeing his leg he shouldn't be worrying about that and hope he has a good recovery didn't look pretty.

Game isn't over yet.
-
Tom Miller already tweeted that Play was upheld
-
All I can say is for attendance sake and student body support(that hopefully occurs this year) that half wasn't at home or on easy access cable.
-
7-7. D looked terrible, great, and average. Offense is meh. Studs has missed almost every open throw.

On your chrome browser there should be a square with a wifi looking logo on it, most likely blue. Click on there, and click quit casting, then go back in and cast again if that is what you are trying to do. Is it showing right on the webpage?

Single Game Tix On Sale TODAY!
Wildfan replied to NoiseInsideMyHead's topic in Tickets wanted / for sale
I had some family members try to get tickets to the Denver series 11/11 weekend the moment they went live and no lower level seats were available. If anyone have any extra(2) to that series let me know! Thank you! -
Not sure if mentioned but looking through the NDSU TV/RADIO bid info:http://www.valleynewslive.com/content/news/GM-EDITORIAL-Takeaways-from-competition-for-the-NDSU-contract-391338082.html And the TV Bids: http://www.valleynewslive-ondemand.com/pdf/Football television proposals_Redacted.pdf It is interesting the Midco was offering to put NDSU football on Prairie Television, which I believe is PBS correct? Yet UND wasn't able to get this even for hockey? I understand wanting to build your subscriber base, but c'mon Also offered ESPN3. Use related links on right side to find all the info.

The LaQuinta and Baymount hotels are both build within the last 2 years. The Baymont has a 1000 Degrees Pizzeria in it that is alot better but similar concept to Red Rosa in Sioux Falls, actually may be more similar to Toppers, or those others quick build your own pizza places in SF, not sure if Vermillion has anything similar. The Hilton Garden Inn is very nice and is attached by skyways to some UND buildings. Some recommendations for food, yet being a poor college student that hasn't experienced alot here yet: Breakfast: Darcy's for a sit down; Tim Hortons for a donut and coffee Lunch: Grand Junction: Grilled subs made fresh in front you you(meat is grilled on the spot) 1000 Degrees Pizzeria Speedway? I believe they are open for lunch, I had great burgers there Late Night: Red Pepper - If you enjoyed a few brewskis at the Game or post game you may be like the college students who love going here at night Others: The Tavern - in Canad Inn L'Bistro - In Canad Inn Parrots Cay - South east portion of Grand Forks, 10-15 min from Alerus Center There are many others local and plenty of chain restaurants in Texas Roadhouse, Applebees, BWW, Red Lobster, Olive Garden, etc.

I just went on Bisonville for the first time and it was the top result in recent activity. Nearly 60 pages on NDSU needing to move up. I didnt read much of it but do know someone recommending building classrooms instead of new athletic facilities

2% for everyone except Med and Law which are going up 2.5%. Yay, we just increased this past year too right? Yes the Med School was running out of space for everything. I have heard anatomy is staying at the old building as well. Some programs that are apart of the SMHS don't even have offices or their own classrooms in the current med school. I know Occupational Therapy and Athletic Training will have some resources move from Hyslop to the new med school. How much I don't know, as the Hyslop will still be a base for both i assume.

Also there was rumors before of a addition onto the wellness with a pool, so maybe they thought they would be able to switch over at that time? I haven't heard or seen anything more on the subject though, and I don't think a master planning ever had a pool at the wellness, so maybe it is just the wellness' dream.

Air Force gets alot of players from the NAHL, or a few years ago they did. Not even USHL, but they have had some strong teams in the past. Big problem is for them that there is a high academic requirement to get in. Coach Serratorre's son even had a quote saying he wanted to play for AFA but couldn't get in so went to UMN. There have been a few All-Americans and players that the NHL wanted but most will stay in for their service instead of taking the way out after I believe it is 2 years. I know I read before that after graduation there is a minimum 2 years before a waiver for release will be granted for those that want to go professional in sports. I can't remember exactly but do remember it was in a article about one of their players who was playing part of a AHL season with Lowell Found it: Greg Flynn http://www.goairforcefalcons.com/sports/m-hockey/spec-rel/012210aaa.html
